These are great pickups! Great idea for a gift. The Red Sox, when they cared for their fans used to have "Christmas at Fenway" You could buy GU jersey grab bags, original Fenway bricks, and a bunch of other promotional stuff.
I'm glad the White Sox still do this. I wish I could have gone to the event because they also had times for kids to run around on the field and in the clubhouse. I get it, baseball is a business, but when they make it so blatant it makes it hard to support the team
Reading the labels was pretty interesting. As an A's fan, this has been difficult. I can only imagine what those Oakland residents feel. I had no idea that teams did this sort of thing.
I haven't seen too many other teams do things like this. I really only keep track of the Braves, White Sox and Cubs, so my sample size is small. I like the idea of getting a ball used in a game I was at and the Sox charge $20 if you order ahead of time. The Sox maybe horrible, but the fan experience is great
I totally get how cool it is the mystery balls ended up being from a game you attended. Very serendipitous and a perfect way to end up with the foul ball gift
Hi Allen! Great stuff! That’s fantastic that mystery ball ended up with you. Really kind of you to give that to your brother in law. I’d be pumped as well. As life’s crushing me as a middle aged man while my dreams are in the rear view mirror it gives me some hope. Not much but some!
I'd like to actually go to the event one time. The same day, they also did an event where kids could go run out on the field and tour the dugout. Hopefully, those two line up on the same day next year as well
Man that is so cool! First that you got a ball from that game in a mystery lot, but also that you’re gifting it to your bro in law for his kid! Also great call out to the M’s staff..:they are awesome especially at home. Woo just needs to stay healthy. Have a great weekend
Great video! It looks like your brother-in-law will get that ball for his son!⚾
I know, super excited! I don't think anyone else would care about this ball other than the two of us
Cool garage sale pickups. Wish the Mets had something like that. Thanks for sharing. 🎅 🎄
I wish the Braves did as well. That's my main team, but with the Sox being local, it is a nice secondary
Very cool Allen!!! I love !!! So cool!!!!I love garage sales!!! how cool is that!?!? It all worked out 👍🏻
The White Sox do this garage sale every year. One of these times I need to go to the stadium and actually look around
Great video Allen and super pickups. Nice that the Sox had a garage sale. Big Congrats on the pickups and thanks for sharing.
One of the few things the White Sox do well, now if they could just play baseball.
Really cool that the White Sox have a “garage sale”
Awesome that you got a ball for your brother in law to give his son!
Thanks Jim! I was really surprised when I read the date on the ball. I couldn't be happier with it

Twins have only had 1 garage sale, but sell some stuff at Twinsfest. North Stars Garage sale prior to their move was pretty awesome.
I'm glad the Sox do this, I know they are horrible on the field but I really like the fan engagement

Great video and stories. Great you are to get that foul ball. Enjoyed.
Really looking forward to giving to my brother-in-law. I know he will like it
Nice 👍 🎉
Thank you

I couldn't believe it when I got it. The fact that they gave me 2 from that game is perfect.

One can dream, right. It was just a nice little coincidence that happened to work out. Thanks Andy, keep the hope alive
Nice pick ups! I was in the same boat as you. Had all intentions of going Friday, but life gets in the way. Nice foul ball story!
I really wanted to go Saturday with my kids. That day they also had time to tour the stadium and meet the mascot dressed as Santa
Awesome story Allen! Believe it or not I have yet to go to one of the White Sox garage sale.

@ That would be cool.

I'm surprised the M's haven't traded a bunch of their pitching yet. Starting pitching's value is so high right now.
@ … Agreed. I have heard Castillo’s name bandied around in trade talks quit a bit but we will see.
