Nice. I have some more recommendations tho:
- Get rid of the weird disclaimer and countdown when activating E-Pedal mode, it’s clumsy and unnecessary
- Remember the E-Pedal mode and Auto Hold after turning the car off and on again so you don’t have to activate them every time

Das Video trägt den Titel " smart #1 - OS 1.1.1 DE Version" ! Hinweis also explizit, Deutsche version! Warum ist das Video komplett in Englisch? Die Versionen für Frankreich und Spanien sind explizit in den entsprechenden Landessprachen gehalten. Will uns SMART im Mutterland von SMART umerziehen?
Wahrscheinlich hat derjenige, der das sonst in Deutsch spricht, gerade Urlaub. 🙂
I contacted Smart not too long ago with a recommendation to add a sentry mode like in some Tesla models. I think this would make a great security feature addition to the car.
This is really useful. Is android auto included now? When will you have video about 1.2? Going to have a look at one of these in the next few weeks

Please note that there is no video available yet for the 1.2 release, however, you can find below the new features and optimization for this version 1.2:
New Features:
- Charging schedule: Set your desired time to start and stop charging.
- Screen cleaning: To clean the touchscreen without activating buttons or settings. Centre display darkens to show dust and smudges. Open Settings - General - Screen Cleaning. Long press the button to exit screen cleaning.
- New languages available: Norwegian and Swedish will be available for both system display and smart Companion. To have smart Companion in a specific language will require download.
- Show mileage / days to next service: Open Settings - Vehicle condition.
Optimizations:
- Optimization of driver monitoring system.
- Rear cross traffic alert optimization: It is possible to turn off automatic brake and keep sound & flash only when rear cross traffic is detected.
You forgot one of my favorite features. Now you can ask the fox
- „Tell me the stock value of Apple“
- „What is 23*45“
- „Tell me about Alexander von Humboldt“
- „What do you know about Berlin“.
- „How is the weather tomorrow?“
At least in Germany this works well. The fox will give a comprehensive answer. The fox gets smarter. This should me mentioned. But he does not know any joke.

@@Max_0815 SmartOS 1.1.0 war eine Beta Version, die nicht öffentlich via OTA freigegeben wurde, sondern nur für einige Problemfälle vom Mercedes Händler via Kabel aufgespielt wurde.
