Stray kids have SO MANY sounds. There is literally something for everyone ❤. If you aren't as crazy about anthem-type songs, some softer songs you could try would be "cover me," "blueprint," "lose my breath," "story that won't end," "leave," "chill," "ex," "slump," "red lights," "taste," "surfin," "the view," " lovestay," etc. Felix has real freckles. If you are interested in his makeup, you need to watch his recent appearance on risabae's (sp.?) beauty show, you'll love it😂. Hope you do a deeper dive into SKZ! They seem to be highly misunderstood and hated for really bizarre reasons. All 8 of them are truly beautiful people❤.

Thank you for giving Stray Kids a chance. I adore their music, it has so much variety. Softer side- Youtiful, Twilight, Cover Me, Neverending Story, many more. Other title tracks you could try- Case 143, Levanter, Back Door. Keep trying and you will discover songs you’ll love.
I think you would really like Back Door, that is a more groovy one along the lines of Chk Chk Boom--still very different but more funky. They have, as everyone has said, a VERY diverse discography. They have gorgeous, deep, meaningful songs as well as their hype sings. Yes, they all sing, dance, and rap incredibly well.

Stray Kids are Rappers, Vocalists, and Dancers. They can do all. Stray Kids Self-Producing group. Stray Kids give clues throughout or toward end of their Music Videos at times for STAYS. God’s Menu, Clue left toward end of Music Video above doorway LIT in RED for next Video to watch after watching God's Menu. Stray Kids Videos one need to watch to the very end. Stray Kids leave something for STAYS too see or read at times.
Ryan has been friends with Chan ( the leader of Straykids) since 2021 , They've been really close friends exchanging gifts and complementing each other. The funny thing is that marvel dosen't know about this collab. Both Ryan and Hugh willing decided to cameo on the M/V because they both love Straykids so much. Fast forward to now, both Hugh and Ryan are huge Stays, This collab was anticipated for stays for a while. Also Straykids will be featured in the new Deadpool and wolverine movie theough an OST ( original sound track )called "Slash"

To answer your questions: Yes, they basically can all rap, sing, and dance, which is why they dont have any set positions anymore.
They dont really have any soft songs that are title tracks (although they can all sing). The more ballady songs are usually bsides. The only title tracks i can think of are Levanter, case 143, and maybe backdoor (maybe not). But tbh as a stay, we prefer both loud and quiet songs of theirs.
Some soft songs i recommend: secret secret, cover me, Twilight, i like it, leave, collision, chill, silent cry, winter falls, 13 miserable or maybe ( 3 of Han's solo songs)
These boys are so talented, so im happy that people are checking them out. Even if its not totally your style, we respect that.
Also, mountains ( the final song you played was on their recent album 'Ate'. Speaking of 'Ate' a fun fact is that they recently broke a record for topping the billbord 200, 5 times in a row since debut.
Sorry for the long ass introduction but if i had to recommend what to do, go through all their popular songs first to see if you actually like any of their tough songs, who knows maybe you will like them 🫶
I've been watching Stray Kids from the very beginning. You will love their music. These are the latest songs and there are so many more to enjoy. You will fall in love with each and every member. They are truly a family
Leader Bang Chan was a trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote / produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAY more say in picking the members than pretty much any other idol trainee in the industry), and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group.
3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on UA-cam. They write / produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over the years the other members have also gotten involved in writing and production.

Stray Kids debuted in 2018. In their early videos, you'll see 9 people performing, but Woojin left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since.

Every time I see someone saying that SKZ is "too loud" for them I feel the urge to bring their "softer" side to the game, this guys are so versatile, they have a lot of that melo soft songs and also strong music that are way easier to the ears too

Bestie I got you. Fun fact: Lee Know was a backup dancer for BTS before he became a member of Stray Kids. 3racha is their rap line which is Han, Changbin, and Bangchan. All three of those members write their lyrics and compose songs. There are 8 members now, but there used to be 9. @ 7:53 That is Bangchan, he is their leader, him and Felix are Aussies. My favorite song for the longest was I am You, but I love God's Menu and Chk Chk Boom rn.

While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane.
Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography.
Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds.
Gotta put this out there. You sound like you may be one of those people that would prefer SKZ's b-sides over their title tracks. That's perfectly fine b/c their super big tracks are absolutely not representative of the whole discography.
There's albums and albums of b-sides that all sound like SKZ but do not sound the same.
It's also a different flavor when it's a unit song.

Their music is loud, they themselves have said it is and even released noeasy as a response making an even louder album, obviously they have so many soft and more calm songs but their signature is loud music

skz have a lot of soft bside, I like the view a lot it has MV also, but form recent Cover me doesnt have Mv but my top 5. People need to dig into skz discoprehy to find that they have music for all the people who have different taste. Their title tracks are hard hitting ones but have a lot of hidden gem. They write and arrange their own music since debut till now, every song is written by 3racha, they each have over 150 song credits now I believe, leader has nearly 200 now. Their fully self-produced group from composing,arraning and songwriting.

As some have already mentioned, there is so much more to their music than noise, check out the other tracks on their new album, and you will be surprised. "I like it", "Runners", "Twilight" & "Stray kids" are all a very different side of Skz you have never heard. And they have so many more from other albums that would surprise the average person who thinks that their title tracks signature sound is their only sound.
