In syntax, the example I given was
1. The mother loves his child
2. The child loves his mother
In first sentence, mother is a female, so HER should have to comes in the place of HIS
In the second sentence, the gender of child is not mentioned, so we can use either HIS/HER in the place of HIS
Please clarify my doubt mam.
