How does that long exhaust pipe affect the engine noise and performance?

Hi, thanks for the question......well, the fitting on the long pipe to the exhaust stack was oversized (leaving about 1/4" all around) so that there wasn't any contact between the two, and probably acted like an air scoop on the long pipe.
So, the noise and performance were pretty much the same as running 2 into 1 pipes
On the rebuild I'm doing (see my other videos), I'm gonna run 2 separate pipes that go straight back approx 18" and skip the added weight of the long straight pipe.
