Really excited to read Grave Empire. I ended up pre-ordering the special signed edition from The Broken Binding, so really looking forward to getting that and reading this. Great video, I love these collab vids, although I'm not sure if my TBR list loves it
Thank you for putting together this video, Preacher -- this sort of thing is a great boon to indie and self-published authors, who rely on the graciousness of their readers to spread the word. And my deepest thanks to Jake from Nerd Level Rising for shouting out While Darkness Gathers -- cover reveal coming soon!
@@PhilipChaseTheBestofFantasy thanks for the kind words!!!! The booktube community is awesome and my experience with self-pub authors and their works has been so great!
Awesome video! I would like to add a cheeky pick of my own self pub book to spotlight: A Deliberate Act of Violence by Steve McHugh. Its book 2 in The Assembly series and is a vampire thriller. And no its not a romantasy. Think more dresden files kind of mystery with a vampire main character. I had a lot of fun with book one: Those Who Dwell in Darkness.
«Edan»!😎🙌 Very excited to check out Odom’s books (her bio is a sales pitch on its own: Veteran, translator, martial artist and a mother!) and «Discovery» (I get a Michael Crichton meets Cthulhu vibe, and I am here for it!🦑😄)! As for myself, I am so excited for «Doom of Destiny» (Sundered Nation #3) by Vaughn Roycroft (Epic/Historical Fantasy inspirert by the Historical Ancient Goths and the Rohirrim of Tolkien, with a dash of «Dune»: The Covers are are on their own AMAZING, and that is before you fall for Roycroft’s characters!🤩), as well as The Sorrow in the Sea» (Final novel in «The Falcon & The Nightingale» Trilogy, Historical Fantasy based on the Mongol Conquest of Medieval Persia) by Stephen Aryan & «Written in the Dark» by Guy Gavriel Kay (Fantasy inspired by Medieval France: GGK, your favorite author’s favorite author)! 😎🙌 Cheers Preacher!
I appreciate all the Black Mantle love! And thanks for the invite PreacherReads!
