Thanks for this. But one small correction. Capital required is much more than 10K. Reason being, in option buying, you need to bring back the loss and brokerage to be able to trade the next day. So, I would like to calculate it as Initial capital + Max Drawdown + Buffer for charges and brokerage. It should be around 30K according to the backtest report.

the back-test result is shown here & if you do the backtest yourself with the same data and date is a huge difference. All years with losses, win probability-36%only & drawdown is continious
Trading this strategy alone will not be sufficient . You need to combine multiple systems together to be profitable in trading
For leg 2 in Put option the range breakout should select Low other wise it will be loss making strategy. If we select High means market is going up and we are buying put option and if select low that means market is going down and we are buying put option.

As a regular algo trader .5% slippage to option selling me hi lag jata hai...... Buying me at least 3-4% slippage lag jayega..... Har month loss pe jayega....... Retailers be aware

Back testing is not real. testing with collection of old data.... in real life its not working as it projected in the Back testing system. we need real trade to understand and improve
