- Sailing through the Lau Group here in Fiji has been a delightful experience. Until a few years ago, cruisers could not visit here without special permission. The place is still incredibly remote, the people still very much authentic although that is changing with tourism. This video captures an amazing spot on the island of Vanua Balavu in the 'Bay Of Islands' and an anchorage with majestic stone outcrops, colours that dazzle the mind and some awesome passages and pools carved into the surrounding mountains ... makes for some awesome exploring by dinghy or kayak.

That was great
If money were no object which cat would you buy and why?...love the video from Fiji...on my bucket list! thanks for a great video!
Will Terry Hi Will - Which cat a person buys all comes down to what one intends to do with it. Do we want to race, cruise in luxury, have a shallow draft for getting into those shallow places and so on. In this regard one will also want to 'gear the cat' for that particular lifestyle which may mean added weight and so on and one will want to determine if the cat you desire can be loaded safely with all this equipment. To give you an example, Impi is well and truly kitted for comfort, so we have decided to compromise on speed and have taken it to its maximum load capacity, bearing in mind we want the boat to be safe at sea. To answer your question more fully, we quite like the Lagoon 560S2 although it is a lot of boat for 2 people.
Its in the Eastern part of Fiji...VANUABALAVU...

C est presque le paradis merci
Same here, absolutely beautiful on a 4K TV!
Hot laps on the dink, WOOHOO!!
Silly question.. What is the purpose of the cover on the outboard?
To negate sun damage or to hide the fact that it is a Yamaha etc?
Lol - actually a combination of protection from sun, to protect the cat from impact when between the hulls lifting and lowering and also to hide that it's a 30hp Yamaha which is quite sought after on some islands! Good thinking there !
