- Teaching ESL Grammar Games for Ells// ESL grammar can be a bit boring if we don't take the time come up with fun english grammar games for english language learners. Teaching English grammar through games allows students to have fun by participating in english grammar games and activities. English grammar games for students also helps students interact with esl grammar lessons in a way that will help them remember important skills that need to be learned as part of English language proficiency. English grammar activities also help to speed up listening and speaking activities for esl beginners. In this video, I tried to mix esl games for young learners as well as esl games for teenagers. I hope you enjoy these esl games in the classroom to help your English language learners.

I am watching this video from the Philippines. I am looking for a fun activity to introduce and learn the subject-verb agreement for my class. I got an idea. This is a great help! Thank you!
Great intro. and game ideas! Making English fun helps with student engagement. 👏
Thank you so much! 😊
I am that nerd that loves grammar, punctuation, spelling, context... lol.
THANK YOU for being this teacher. You make my heart happy 💞🌟💗🌟💞
Grammar is interesting, isn't it? That makes us both grammar nerds. 😂🔥😂. Thanks for watching my video.
I'm a fifth grade dual language English teacher in Indiana. Thank you for the videos each week. I have shared many with my colleagues.
Hi Jessica! Welcome to the Language Lady family. It means so much that you have shared these videos. I used to teach 5th grade dual language too. It was very different from teaching lower level dual language students. Are you currently teaching online as well?
I love this. It's so hard to have them talk sometimes. Huge tips. Greetings from Spain
Thank you for watching, Aaron. It is hard to get them speaking sometimes. Sometimes I find that when I play games with my students or talk to them one on one on topics that they enjoy, it lets them have more confidence in you and they will speak more. How is teaching coming along?
Hi, Sandra! I'm watching this video from Spain! I really liked the ideas! Thanks!

Hi Mrs Cat, Dr Hemphil is an amazing ESL teacher. Good to have you here.
Gracias por ls sugerencias.
De nada. Gracias por ver mi video.
Watching this from Romania, while learning for a teaching exam, Titularizare. Do you have something for pre-/while-/post-reading/writing/speaking/listening? I love the way you explain the steps and it resembles the way I have to explain in the exam.
Thank you so much for your inquiry. I'm going to check.
@@TheLanguageLady I also must make the activities starting from a given literary text. :.(
Have you tried a Google search?
I really like this, but I need you how to apply this to our students, I mean the example video
You can do it as a center, before the lesson, or as an application, or even review!
A little offtopic here but I'd like to use the chance to ask a grammar question. In the video I heard the term "subject pronoun" and felt quite relieved as I used the same term when teaching. However, the school seems to refer to it as a personal pronoun and I wasn't sure if I made a mistake or both as used as synonymous. Anybody?
I think both are fine.
Yes, both can be used interchangeably.
Namibia Grade 4 - 7
You are my first subscriber from Namibia. Tell me about your English program.
Was that your daughter playing the role of student? Good acting job ; )
Hi Bradwell! Thanks for watching my video. Yes, she starred in her first "role". Heheheh Now that she is 13 I don't think I could talk her into doing that favor me again.
Are you in the teaching profession?
@@TheLanguageLady Yes, I teach ESL for a commercial center in Fort Lauderdale : )
