They handled it so well, and for Ally? I don’t have any words for Ally. She’s incredible and she has such a positive attitude towards everything that’s thrown her way. That’s why she’s our ray of sunshine. Dinah is the boss of a kind heart and I’m heartbroken for her when she didn’t say anything in regards to answering Camila questions. I guess it’s been made clear that Dinah is clearly heartbroken about losing Camila who was such an incredible friend to her. But, Dinah still supported Camila through the solo endeavors instead of distancing herself like Lauren, Normani and Ally did. Honestly, they could've answered the questions in a better way that deflated the situation. Camila has been asked about them before and never made a big issue out of it. There are ways to deflect without saying things like "what is this?" and making it more awkward and newsworthy.

When they are promoting a song or an album, they should be getting asked about their music. This guy didn't even start off by asking about the music, it was just straight off about Camila. I agree with what someone else said, the interviewer wasn't being mean at all. In fact, he WAS being professional FOR THE MOST PART. His fault was continuing to talk about a subject the girls clearly did not want to talk about. It was okay for him to bring up those questions because a lot of fans want to know about it, even though it's evidently better to leave that stuff for later and focus on their new album. The girls weren't perfect either in deflecting his questions. They could have told him from the start when he asked the first question about it,"Well, we would rather focus on the new album in terms of questions.." then do what they did by indeed focusing on themselves and the process. Why are you guys hating on him? He just asked questions nobody has ever directly answered, 5h keep saying "ugh we don't want more questions about her" but honestly name one time they actually directly answered a question about her. And 5h put this on themselves. This was their chance to let everyone know they had moved on and wish her the best so all this drama would end, but they didn't and it makes them look so bad
It wasn't the point of the interview though! They were promoting their music. If they don't want to talk about it, you've got to respect their privacy and stop asking questions about it. The girls have changed a lot since they split. They have to continuously say that they are happy, kind of like to convince themselves they are. And when you have to voice that it means that you're not. All you need to do is let other people see it. That's psychology 101 people. Don't start cursing and replying your immature comments. Some fans need to grow up and be objective. You can give constructive criticism and it's not that you're hating. Hopefully they grow out of this cause I don't see much future for them as solo artists. They need to be more authentic as soloist.
I'm pretty sure they aren't answering some of the questions because of management. Their management is pretty strict on what they can and can not say about certain topics. Now I'm sure they could've answered some of the questions with no problem but they just want to promote their music and the whole Camila thing happened about 8 months ago and it's still a touchy subject for them. maybe later they can on up about it but I think people should be respectful of their feelings and not ask them questions about it until they're ready to answer them.
Since the beginning of this interview all the questions he was asking were about the Camila breakup like...okay they've all released statements and asking one or even two questions about the situation is reasonable; but to navigate every fucking question back to the break up one after another, like that's the only thing they're known for, is really annoying and disrespectful.
The first 10 minutes sound like it was an interview about Camila. She is the main topic. They have nothing to gain from talking about Camila. I think at this point, she does not have much to gain from this drama anymore either.

I was especially surprised and very impressed with Lauren’s and Normani’s replies saying that they’ve already addressed the issue and they’d like to move on from Camila’s departure story. Oh my god, do you even know them at all ? First, i think you need to hear this again, bc i don't hear anywhere that they laughed when he mentioned her being oversexualised. Second, if they even laughed, it was from shock hearing these dumb, pressing and irrespectful questions. I agree with what someone else said, the interviewer wasn't being mean at all. In fact, he WAS being professional FOR THE MOST PART. His fault was continuing to talk about a subject the girls clearly did not want to talk about. It was okay for him to bring up those questions because a lot of fans want to know about it, even though it's evidently better to leave that stuff for later and focus on their new album. The girls weren't perfect either in deflecting his questions. They could have told him from the start when he asked the first question about it,"Well, we would rather focus on the new album in terms of questions.." then do what they did by indeed focusing on themselves and the process. Either way, the interviewer would've continued asking those questions but that's just how 5h could've dealt with it better. They're not angels though like they said, and that's fine. I'm pretty sure they aren't answering some of the questions because of management. Their management is pretty strict on what they can and can not say about certain topics. Now I'm sure they could've answered some of the questions with no problem but they just want to promote their music and the whole Camila thing happened about 8 months ago and it's still a touchy subject for them. maybe later they can on up about it but I think people should be respectful of their feelings and not ask them questions about it until they're ready to answer them.
Since the beginning of this interview all the questions he was asking were about the Camila breakup like...okay they've all released statements and asking one or even two questions about the situation is reasonable; but to navigate every fucking question back to the break up one after another, like that's the only thing they're known for, is really annoying and disrespectful.
