- We’re tripling the size of our flock, and that will be a huge blessing but also present some challenges. With 5 roosters, things might get competitive and chaotic.
We finally work on an improved watering system for the pigs-one more thing checked off the list!

Fynn and Angus always work so well together no matter what the task is, and they have fun! That barrel rolling looked like a good time. Love all the new chickens and I have to say my favorite is the silkie too. Very nice they’re already producing more eggs for you. That fence painting project is a big one and Wrenn is doing a great job!! Love and prayers for all of you. God bless
Thank you, Kelly! They are a crack up to watch, they make the most boring project fun!
Love the relationship the kids have with each other. Reminds me of when my siblings and I were kids. Seemed we could turn any chore into fun. As we have gotten older, our childhood shinanagins have made for some wonderful memories. There were 8 of us. The youngest is now 53.
Wow, that is wonderful! I hope that our children still love to get together and reminisce when they are older!
Great episode!!!
I like how the children make fun out of work. The laughter is so refreshing. The cat lady shirt was right on for Finn😉. Angus is really good at juggling 😅.❤
Glad you enjoyed it- that’s her favorite shirt, she wears it constantly! 🤣👍🏽
I must say that Fynn and Droopy were both having a blast with that barrel. I love to hear their laughter, it’s such a joy. Wren is doing a great job with painting the fence. It looks like it’s going to take her some time to finish it. The new chickens are really pretty. I hope they all do good. God Bless.
What an amazing and Godly family. Love how you teach the children to respect each other and work together will get them further in life. Take care and stay strong. God bless
Thank you, Mary! 🥰
Boy, that rooster did a number on those hens! My brothers and I had more fun with barrels. We walked them through the yard and we rolled inside of them. Farm kids know how to have fun. When they check for color blindness, they only check for red and green
I love watching y’all, I been watching doss family from the beginning, when Chad first started, I love grandma and grandpa doss.
We do too, such wonderful people. 😍
I love the charcoal/black! It is so striking and very much on trend currently
Thank you! It did turn out well! 👍🏽
Stay tuned for your next episode. I chuckle everytime Aaron says thanks for tuning in..
🤣🤣Now he’ll never stop!

best video!
Thank you! 🥰
Hi kids. You got a great group of chickens. Goota find the one taking the feathers off the hens back and separate him. Also, they make Lil dresses for chickens with that problem.Ralph Doss has some too. They are cute but also allows them to heal. Love seeing you all. How is your fawn and kitties I got you doing. Did you find a place for them. Hope the rest of the family are all doing well. Love you all..GG Carol ❤
Yes, good observation! Thankfully, they didn’t pass on to us the rooster who is causing the bare backs. I know it will take a bit, but I think they will all regrow their feathers now that he’s out of the equation! Fynn is absolutely loving her fawn and kitties, thank you so much! ❤️
Droopy and Finn pretty much had the blue barrel clean before they turned on the wated. Lol! I always enjoy your videos!
Thank you for the video. Like seeing the kids doing different things. Those were pretty big chickens. Love and prayers from NC
Yes they are! We love them!
If Aaron has had his eye checked then the doctor should have picked up on it if he is color blind. They give tests for that when you go in for an exam. Tell Angus to keep on practicing the juggling and show us how he is improving. He is till into horses? Have not seen anything about that in a long time.
I agree, we need to do an update on the horses! Sawyer just started working with them, and there’s actually a baby now, so we will add that soon! Angus hasn’t resumed his lessons, Merrill had a baby recently so they have been on pause. 👍🏽
Working hard? Or hardly working? Looks like fun!!
Ha! So true!!
Cute Finn tks for getting my name right😂😂😂
🤣👍🏽
❤❤❤❤❤
lol lol new meaning to barrel races ..lol fun times 😂
Great point! 🤣
That fence is looking beautiful! Last summer my husband and his brother did our fence, they used 16 ft boards and hog panel. The boards have twisted unfortunately. I am going to have him paint them black and we have talked about painting the panels black as well. Love the new chickens, I hope they all settle in well, I’m so glad you’re getting rewarded with plenty of eggs.
You could maybe get multi spigot faucets to put on and get separate hoses for each one and have that hose go to a designated area. We have the multi spigots on both of our faucets and have our drip system for our flower beds on them and they’re controlled by a timer so we don’t have to even think about watering.
You’re lucky, all of my plants have been by grasshoppers, I’m glad we didn’t attempt a garden this year.
That joke was a good one, made even better by Aaron’s comment, I’m glad I wasn’t drinking anything or my tablet would have been soaked.
LOL!! it makes me smile to think of you laughing! And good idea about the spigots, we do have one of those on the main faucet, but I think it may have broken. I’ll look into that.
Your fence sounds wonderful, I love hog panels! Gramma‘s fence had two of the main boards also twist, they just got replaced. Such a bummer!
Nice new chickens! The Polish chickens always look so weird with their crazy hair. I have a very small collection of bones, that my dog and I find on our walks. A vertebra from most likely a fox, a racoon skull, and a muskrat skull.
Collecting bones can be so much fun! We used to live in the desert in Utah, and there were so many bones out there, it was always an adventure. 👍🏽
❤
I think the charcoal looks better with the gray house than the brown would.
That’s what everyone has said, it worked out great!
That barrel for the pig water is great. You could drill another hole in the opposite side of the barrel and then two holes in the plywood you find for the lid so that you can tie it down. That way if the goats or the pigs do slam into it, there is zero chance of the lid sliding off and squishing one of them. Just a thought.
I love the part at the end with Aaron. He is so funny and it's always nice to see him with whoever he films with - they always seem to be enjoying it too. Loved Fynn's joke. No joke from me today. I can't seem to stay vertical these days - have had another fall and am feeling pretty sore and frustrated. Oh well... things can always be worse. Look forward to the next video. I'm heading straight there from this one as I got a bit behind, what will bouncing off the floor and all, haha.
Best wishes,
Heather🇨🇦
Oh no!!! No more falls! Remember the bubble wrap! Hope you’re feeling better by now ❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
My husband wore a avacado green leisure suit with an almost spring green shirt. The contast hurt my eyes! He wasnt color blind just had no taste in clothes. I had to pick out his clothes after that fiasco
LOL!!! That’s a crack up! 💚
I don’t think you need, “exaggerate”-people love seeing animals, the more your videos star the animals, the better
Get ya’ some plastic glue, will plug the hole in the barrel.
I didn’t know that trick, thank you so much! I need to write these things down, lol! 👍🏽👍🏽
$150 for a barrel is absolutely outrageous. I can’t wait till we get back to a decent president in November ❤
