to be fair, it’s not that good. not because the players are bad but because it’s not properly built around the two stars to win. it lacks nearly everything that the lakers had in 2020 that made them competitive
i think it’s “too much money” because people genuinely forgot how good Zach lavine is tbh. also, people didn’t think he’d still be as good after the injuries
I think "too much money" is more referencing the fact that most team have to give up so many players for 1 and if it fails where does he go? I think everyone knows he is good just if he was lets say $30 mill a year I think he would probably be sign to a team already but $40 mill is getting to the point where they will all have to play a lot in regular season cause they dont have the depth with the West being so good
@@shinsukecorbin425 Lavine is not bad on defense. He is DEFINITELY a better defender than Reaves!!! Lavine not getting hunted the way Reaves get hunted. I thin their defense schemes are bad which unfortunately is a JJ Redick problem. If the getting a bucket getter like Zach they could possibly shift some stuff in the offense and make an elite offense then all they qould need to do is have a decent defense to be elite. Marz is on point has far as what Zach is currently being paid. 40mil a year sounds about right for a player of his caliber especially when you look at it relative to the league. I think the 2 major issues with Zach and his contract are 1 the 48mil player option he'll have at 32 2 The new CBA rules

If they do get lavine, Bron gonna have to be ok being a third option. Offense runs thru AD, lavine would be the second scoring option and Bron would have to playmake. I don’t think Bron wants to differ
It's defer...Bron doesn't mind deferring. He's done it before on the Lakers. Problem is AD does not maintain intensity offensively. There is nobody else to lean on.
All the lakers need is a bonafide scorer and maybe a real big man to help ad. If they just get Lavine. I like their chances against anyone besides Denver. And Denver would be up in the air because they didn't have a scorer like Lavine when they played.
F the scorer, they need big bodies that rebound and defend, 2020 was the formula, Howard and McGee were perfect players to pair next to AD. I wish they never let Ivica go as we clearly see him killing it with the clippers.
If Lakers want Lavine....They gotta let go of AR and Rui. Assuming Denver wants Lavine....I dont think MPJ will be the choice but they might have to give up Cbraun or Pwatson.
if denver wants lavine, MPJ would HAVE to be in the deal to make the money work. and braun and watson- as promising as they can be as role players - is not equal value for someone like lavine anyway.
Lebron plays zero defense. Every time they are on defense it is 5 on 4. He only plays opportunistic defense. An occasional burst for a chase down. And a few opportunitistic steals. No team can win a championship like this.
Lakers should’ve gotten Lavine and Caruso last year
Should never have let Caruso leave
