@@nock-racing yeah, I could have done a better job avoiding the target fixation when that Toyota spun. But like I said if I passed you once you can bet I'll pass you twice.
@@nock-racing I was watching the end again you're right I almost lost it going into the next to last lap and then after the white flag I was over-slowing on a lot of the corners. Luckily they were too far back to do anything about it 😅
I don't know how I got here, but great job. In general your overtakes and your pace were really good, but your breaking is a bit hard most of the times. If you engine break and trailbreak you can break with less pressure and carry more speed in some corners. That will give you more control and pace when you can't run the ideal line or if there's traffic, so you can still be quick. Just my 2 cents. You got a sub from me, keep at it 👍
Thanks for the advice! Sometimes when I really hit a corner fast and just nail the trail braking or whatever it just scares the crap out of me. Like I'm supposed to do that every time? Jeez 😅😅😅
@@petermuravez Pretty much lol. You can look up "gr86 okayama iracing" and watch "GitGud Racing" video. If you see the telemetry he breaks like 90% pressure, but let's go gradually while downshifting. That allows you to carry a lot of speed. These road cars are pretty much about momentum, like a Kart, so you want to keep as much speed as possible through corners because they don't have a lot of torque and if you slow too much it's hard to accelerate fast again. Also you can see that he dabs the breaks a little bit when he understeers for extra rotation. I know it's super hard to incorporate, but once you do, you'll find tons of pace you didn't even think it existed. I'm still learning to master it too lol. Good job though it was a good race and you inspired me to race it after watching your video 👍 Good luck and happy holiday season
Nice racing Peter, good top 5 finish for week 1 race good luck for rest of season mate.
Good work Peter, certainly deserved the P5, although it looked for a bit there that you weren't going to get back through 👍🏻
