sometimes when the show gets a little too much just keep in mind that it was written to be watched once a week. i try to always remind people who start shows that have 23 episodes a season that it was meant to be watched once a week. please don't get overwhelmed. it's an amazing show none the less.

I don’t care too much for him personally but my respect kind of re-grew knowing that on their podcast, Hilarie said Chad left the show in solidarity with her. He wanted their journey to end together and he would leave too. I still enjoyed the show because they finally got their happy end and left but I definitely feel there was some stagnation for a bit but the other core characters really kept it together even if it was a bit sad that the change happened, it felt like natural progression which a lot of shows can’t pull off.

Which I know OTH lasted for 9 years as I was a super fan of that show, I have many memories of that show in highschool! I have such nostalgia surrounded by that show, it was the greatest show for me at that time, it will always have a special place in my heart!
I live further up the coast in NC, just a few hours drive north of Wilmington, NC and I've never been there. I've always wanted to go because some great works of art such as, One Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek, Marvel movies, etc... have come out of that place and that I hear all the time of just how beautiful, Wilmington is.

I’m sure they are both over it by now but who knows they haven’t really connected since then unlike other cast members!! Plus Brooke and Luke were actually meant to end up together but the writers decided to put Luke and Peyton together and have them leave the show!!

Season 1-3 were awesome. Season 4 was good. Season 5 was good. Season 6 was okay. After they wrote Lucas and Payton out, the show went downhill. There was so much they could have done with the final season to go out with a bang but it just went out on a whimper. We'll probably get a revival in a few years.

The seasons that didn't have them were good but every time I watch and get to those seasons I can't help but think how much better the show would have been having Lucas and Peyton with their daughter on it and the story lines that could have been done. I might be wrong but I kind of think if they had remained on the show it may have went on a few more seasons as well. Another thing is I think that the show missed an opportunity by not giving Junk and Fergie more air time as well. I say all that to end with AWESOME SHOW!
Hilarie has said that she didn't want to stay on the show anymore after her six season contract was up because of the toxic set. If Mark wasn't bullying or abusing the female cast, I'm sure she would have stayed until the end.

People complain because having kids is HARD! Being a parent easily the most difficult thing I will ever do, and that most people will ever do. Especially if you have high expectations on yourself and the parent that you want to show up as for your kids. Of course it's joyful and wonderful and beautiful too... can't describe the love you feel. Some days it's just hard. A lot of people have other stressers too and limited support while parenting. I think a whinge is totally okay and valid sometimes!

Ok, I understand that he made some mistakes but I disagree that Lucas was a bad person. He was a great caring friend, brother, supporter and believer in everyone around him. He loved being able to give advice when people were down and didn’t believe in themselves and worried a lot about his friends and wanted them to be safe. The thing people need to realize about Lucas is he was extremely introverted and had abandonment issues because of Dan. I’m not excusing some of the mistakes he made but I don’t believe he was a bad person, I believe he was a good person and had a good heart but had both denial and abandonment issues which makes him a relatable character and more realistic
He was a kid, kids make mistakes. Also, if Lucas, or any character was perfect the show would be pretty boring. That's why I never understand when people bitch about so and so being toxic on a show. People make mistakes, and those mistakes create drama for a.....wait for it.....drama/teen drama tv show
Are we gonna talk about how toxic Peyton was to her best friend? Or how toxic Debs was, how toxic Karen was at times, how toxic Dan was, how toxic Rachel was, how toxic Haley was at times.... They all were at times so what's the point in addressing Lucas's character when he was the least toxic anyway...
I absolutely loved the show the first few seasons, but I felt like they let it go on for too long. I watched it until the end because I was a fan from the beginning, but the later seasons just weren't as great. I did love the last episode when everything came full circle though.

Kids are definitely work when you are a stay at home parent. The days can be very long and thankless when you have littles at home before school age sets in. Downplaying the work that goes into caring for kids full time is an issue and one of the reasons the work of good parents isn't valued enough. I've been a work out of home parent, a work from home parent and a stay at home parent. Working for a company was a nice break.
Gotta love chad (Lucas) but i hated the drama he was always in they were all in their own drama but his back and forth between Peyton max Brooke and whoever but Nathan was such a bad guy and turned completely around and I absolutely loved Nathan and Haley more

Ok, I understand that he made some mistakes but I disagree that Lucas was a bad person. He was a great caring friend, brother, supporter and believer in everyone around him. He loved being able to give advice when people were down and didn’t believe in themselves and worried a lot about his friends and wanted them to be safe. The thing people need to realize about Lucas is he was extremely introverted and had abandonment issues because of Dan. I’m not excusing some of the mistakes he made but I don’t believe he was a bad person, I believe he was a good person and had a good heart but had both denial and abandonment issues which makes him a relatable character and more realistic
He was a kid, kids make mistakes. Also, if Lucas, or any character was perfect the show would be pretty boring. That's why I never understand when people bitch about so and so being toxic on a show. People make mistakes, and those mistakes create drama for a.....wait for it.....drama/teen drama tv show

Are we gonna talk about how toxic Peyton was to her best friend? Or how toxic Debs was, how toxic Karen was at times, how toxic Dan was, how toxic Rachel was, how toxic Haley was at times.... They all were at times so what's the point in addressing Lucas's character when he was the least toxic anyway...

I absolutely loved the show the first few seasons, but I felt like they let it go on for too long. I watched it until the end because I was a fan from the beginning, but the later seasons just weren't as great. I did love the last episode when everything came full circle though.
I stopped watching after Chad and Hilario left. Peyton was my favorite character. Still love anything that Hilario does.
I’ve always thought this was such a beautiful man but my spidey senses go OFF when I watch his videos. He just seems like he thinks he’s always right and it’s his way or the highway. I could be so wrong and he might be the kindest human on the planet so correct me if someone has personal experience with him.

Kids are definitely work when you are a stay at home parent. The days can be very long and thankless when you have littles at home before school age sets in. Downplaying the work that goes into caring for kids full time is an issue and one of the reasons the work of good parents isn't valued enough. I've been a work out of home parent, a work from home parent and a stay at home parent. Working for a company was a nice break.

Gotta love chad (Lucas) but i hated the drama he was always in they were all in their own drama but his back and forth between Peyton max Brooke and whoever but Nathan was such a bad guy and turned completely around and I absolutely loved Nathan and Haley more
I just started watching the show these past few months and I’m on s6 I fucking love as soon as Brooke (Sophia) came into the screen I fell in love like wow and especially Haley 😩🤌🏽 mouse is also my fave Nathan grew on me Lucas is off and on Peyton love her too but sometimes just couldn’t stand her but again still love her and omg sorry for ranting literally no one my age watches it or knows what it is 😭

Love this dude and a fan of him since OTH, but, there ain't no damn way on this planet that kids ain't hard, hard work. Cmon now. It is because parents(at least good parents) love their kid(s) more than life that it is so hard. It is supposed to be hard. You are raising another human being. I have one son and it is tough sometimes. I can't imagine people that have more than 1. But, that is subjective. Some people can handle it, but some just can't, or don't know how to.
