While it's obvious that you can use Pythagoras theorum to figure out the distance from the sun to the distance of a parsec from earth, it's not something you think about often.
but 1/3600 have a unit of degrees, and your calculator was in radian mode. if you convert, tan 1” is not 1”
Tan(1/3600°) ~ 4.8x10^-6
