- We stayed at the legendary Buffalo Chip campground in Sturgis, South Dakota during the 2020 Sturgis Motorcycle rally. In video two of this adventure, we take part in the activities at Bikini beach and also visit the Crossroads. Saturday night was full of action with the bands and Sunday morning was amazing with the free pancakes breakfast. Last time i went to Sturgis (over from the UK ) was 25 years ago i loved every second , it was every thing i hoped it would be (and more ) .......looked nothing like this .....who are these people ?
All the youngsters are buying side by sides (Polaris,can-ams) now and going to the mudfests . There's still a few that enjoy motorcycles , but nothing like the peak in the late nineties .
@@facforrester 25 years ago , i was 25 , it appeared to be the average age and upwards , best time of my life , i still talk about it now... to any one who will listen LOL the life style still lives on in my head ( still ride HD ) but in reality i can see its over . Im gald i was there .

i put my mobile phone in tin foil or cooking foil. also if i have the ability an the skill .. i take the battery out. less cops the better
That’s the only way to get to South Dakota is your RV and your motorcycle in a trailer.
Too many trailered motorcycles, not many real bikers ...
Some bikers I talked to at Sturgis rode there...
Looks more like a golf cart, side by side rally in the camp grounds anymore.
-While camped along the way to Sturgis, helped an old biker lean his old, but well maintained hog over, to replace a fitting. We shared couple beers. He told me that he had been doing Sturgis, when he could, for over forty years. He was nearing 80. ;
