How beautiful it is when people care so much and do everything they can to save the life of another! Praise God for bringing this dear man safely out of his latest "adventure"!
Soo true I really want these kind of content must more be made.. it releases tension and boosts the belief that things are going to turn I our favour...
Wow! The story about my father, Kirk Lightbourne, seems to be endless. This video was created over 15 years ago and was originally narrated by Ian Ziering. Since then, it has been re-edited and re-sold several times, with this version being the shortest. The original video is posted on my UA-cam page. Today I received this message from UA-cam, which is how I found out about this video being recently posted: "A copyright owner using Content ID claimed some material in your video. This is not a copyright strike. This claim does not affect your account status. There are either ads running on your video, with the revenue going to the copyright owner, or the copyright owner is receiving stats about your video’s views. Video title: Kirk Lightbourne's Sailing Adventure - Part 3/4 Copyrighted content: Old Man and the Sea - It's a Miracle Claimed by: QuestarEntertainment". Long story short, I love that my fathers story continues to be told. Michael Lightbourne
Hi Michael! The internet age has certainly done its part in bringing us together on this day to share in your father's miraculous story, only a few hours after we uploaded the video, no less. What a blessing! We are continually uploading a few "It's a Miracle" videos per week, and will do so for at least another year and a half (based on the depth of our library). Since late 2018, when we seriously began overhauling our UA-cam channel, of all of the content that we uploaded to this platform, we have found that the "It's a Miracle" series has far and away been the content that people gravitate to most due to overall wholesome and uplifting nature/spirit of the series. I, personally, tend to enjoy the episodes about the sea. :-) Thank you for posting a comment, kind sir! We will "whitelist" your channel on here today in order to remove an copyright notifications. Cheers! - Your Friends @ Questar, Inc.
He seems like a very interesting person, your father. I guess he is deceased now, and I'm sorry about that. ... So now I can find out more about his life.
@@simonemckee8840 I live in the Caribbean deep sea is not something to play with because the weather can be very unpredictable sometimes, that's is not being careful or responsible, for anyone to do, much less a elderly person. But God is good they were able to save him.
A fellow mariner, or a land lubber we all should stretch ourselves as heroes do....and like the dog in Florida live another day. They looked like angels, they were trained to save lives and someone developed the GPS system that benefits mankind today. A special shout out to all people who have studied hard to be ready when the call goes out.... Thank God, for angels, Amen.
A fishing boat found the boat (the Cazador) and reported it’s location to the coast guard. The coast guard called me with the coordinates. I contacted the Adrienne A, the fishing vessel that found my father, to ask them if they were close to the location (they were on their way to Tahiti), and if so, would they tow the boat to Hawaii. They did! Mike Marble and his son John were incredible in the entire rescue operation. Once the Cazador was in Hilo, I flew to Hawaii, did minor repairs to the boat, sailed it around the island to Hilo and put it into dry storage. I had repairs made to the boat. And six months later, my father and I sailed the Cazador to Portland, Oregon (where I live). A year later, we sailed her back to San Diego.
@@MRLightbourne Thank you Michael. That was quite an ordeal. I am happy to learn you are all safe and sound at this time. Thanks for responding.......Sal : )

So comforting to hear stories like this bring Gods care and love. Such a contrast to all the looting and rioting going on now.
Humanity, this is the love I love to hear. BLESS YOU 😌

Never a smart move to go out on sea alone for 14 days. No matter how old you are.
