Because they generally doesn't give their their time in unwanted things. Especially when they are sure.
I am an entj mom with five children esfp girl, intj boy, estp boy, infp girl, entp boy. My husband is an istp. Our house has always been full of ideas, opinions, and imagination for sure. The way you explained intj children...spot on for my son. He was an angel. All my kids except the youngest are adults now. I think intj is a perfect personality for an eldest son. His siblings are fortunate for this.
