as soon as he started talking my stomach clenched. I didn't even know him when he was alive and it hurts because since I started watching Harry Potter last year Snape is my favourite. I feel like I've seen Alan in other movies before but I never really payed attention. again i say R.I.P Alan. may u continue to watch from above
Z.G same . I only knew him as snape but I did not like snape, when I was a child. After his death I started to watch Harry Potter again and Snape became my favorite. I am still sad about his passing and sad that I only got to know him better because of his death. 💔 I still miss him
There are some great movies to see with him in. Rickman's first cinema role came when he was cast as the German terrorist leader Hans Gruber in Die Hard (1988). He also appeared as the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), for which he received the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role; Elliott Marston in Quigley Down Under (1990); Jamie in Truly, Madly, Deeply (1991); P.L. O'Hara in An Awfully Big Adventure (1995); Colonel Brandon in Sense and Sensibility (1995); Alexander Dane in Galaxy Quest (1999); Metatron in Dogma (1999); Severus Snape in the Harry Potter series (2001-2011); Harry in Love Actually (2003); Marvin the Paranoid Android in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005); and Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007). Rickman made his television acting debut playing Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (1978) as part of the BBC's Shakespeare series. His breakthrough role was in the BBC television adaptation of The Barchester Chronicles (1982). He later starred in television films, playing the title character in Rasputin: Dark Servant of Destiny (1996), which won him a Golden Globe Award, an Emmy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, and Alfred Blalock in Something the Lord Made (2004). Rickman died of pancreatic cancer on 14 January 2016 at age 69.[1][2] His final film roles were as Lieutenant General Frank Benson in the thriller Eye in the Sky (2015), and reprising his role as the voice of the caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland (2010) in Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016).
@@melaniejackson-cracchiolo356 You forgot two of my favorites....not counting HP of course. That would be Close My Eyes, where he practically plays himself....so beautiful and sweet, and The Search for John Gissing. Alan's hilarious in it ..and handsome of course!
I swear, I still can't believe he's gone...I cry with every video I watch. It's just not feasible....Mr. Rickman, you are missed so very much, words just can't describe 😪😪😪
You know,I want to tell you thank you for everything you do. I watch your videos every day and I cry remembering about Alan. I hope that you will continue to create these wonderful videos.THANK YOU!
I literally cannot believe it’s been seven years since he’s left us. The stage and screen are poorer for it, but he left a great legacy behind. I love and miss him.
Thank you for this. How sorely missed he is. How bravely he endured his pain in private, continuing to enjoy those close to him, to show his humor and thoughtfulness to others. Coming up on a year, and I still cry. Can only imagine how hard this time is for Rima and those closest to him. I do hope something special is being planned as a major tribute to a unique man so appreciated and missed by so very many of us.
I expected your next video.....thank you so much !! I'm smiling and crying at the same time... I need to see him and to hear his voice every day......Thank you again for your work, your videos are always made with gentleness, love and kindness for him. Don't stop creating ...for Alan, for you, for us....Thank you a lot, I wish you the best!!!!
Thank you very much for those nice words. It means a lot to know that my simple creating videos are important for people. So thank you and I wish you the best too!
I had just started to watch what he was all about & felt that I have. Just witness a great actor in his prime, then he passes away,I am heartbroken that I won't get to see him perform again but will go back &watch all that he has done,GOD has taken another great person, thank you Allen for all you've given us we will miss you for ever.
Thank you for this video! It made me cry once again. I just can't understand why such a strong and great person had to leave that early. . He past away one day after my 17th birthday. A day when we all, my friends and me, had a lot of fun. And when I think about the pain and suffering he had to deal with on that day and a long time before it makes me feel giddy.
I don't know why, I just only noticed that a lot of artists die young. Maybe they live twice (in personal life, inside job) and they just enjoying life more than others…less is more sometimes. And I believe that he didn't suffering too much. He spent last months with friends, visiting New York and he had a power to care about others more than about himself. He had his wife and family by side…I don’t know how many things you read about his secret‘s illness but he obviously didn’t want to see his friends and fans be mourning. So, it’s okay that you had a fun. That’s what Alan Rickman wanted. Try to remember that, as I do. Sometimes it doesn't work, I know... Have a nice day :) (sorry for my english, I'm not a english speaker)
Nor am I. And thank you very much for your answer. Maybe you are right that he didn't suffer that much as I think he did. But I do remember my aunt's suffering and pain before she died last year at the age of 39. So we can only hope that he is safe now. And it is a beautiful idea you had about the actors life.
Farewell my best actor... Goodbye my beloved professor. I know, it's 2 years after you're gone. But still, it hurt me whenever I saw this video of yours... My prayers stay with you sir Alan, forever, you'll be missed... I love you ❤
The first movie I saw him in was Harry Potter and he just seems like a serious person but he’s not so every time I see him smiling I smile back... R.I.P And who ever dislikes is the worst person ever Also when I heard his voice I just felt joy and it’s weird to think that when I was born he was still alive... we miss you Alen... R.I.P
I might’ve just known or truly know who Alan was this year at end of September but I watched a video years ago and there is a person wearing black robes, black hair and dark background and he was mysterious and the actor who played him was sadly passed away it was Alan and I bitterly regret that I didn’t know who he was when he was still here the world was saying to me his name right in front of my face but now I know him it hurts because how much he ment to me now I truly love this video and I cried because hearing the music and the word he said makes me cry I don’t know if I should buy his book in the future because it fears me that his last word that I could handle anymore Always.

It's incredibly but it still hurt so much. The pain is huge.
Excellent advice about developing your aesthetic sensibility, about living with an eye to beauty. Thank you, Alan Rickman.
