He won't change his mindset, the way he his got him where he he's at, he's a stubborn guy with aspergers, it's gonna be very hard to make him want to change, you can only help someone so much, they have to want it themselves.
You misunderstood me. I'm not saying he doesn't have a mindset issue, I'm saying resolving those issues wouldn't make him the best in the world right now.
mew2king is actually getting way better than before, last year he always went Fox and he always lost, this year he has a 3-0 on the record and a much better mental game.
I think M2K's problem while he was playing Marth this tournament was he was double jumping really early in recovery. He did that a lot against DruggedFox.
All M2K has to do against Armada's peach on Dreamland is instead of playing the hard work game racking up percentage (past 200% in some cases, jesus..) until a tilt attack finally knocks peach out of the stage is once Peach is about 100 percent or a little more, up b away from peach. Especially on Dreamland. It comes out quick and it will knock out Peach much quicker and send her flying more horizontally instead of having to do practically 2 to 3 times the work Armada has to do to kill Marth. In many of their matches M2K is dominating the match in terms of hits and exchanges, but he just doesn't do what's necessary to kill Peach.
swygster so the risk to reward is not really all that great for reverse up b... exclusively. 1. Peach can definitely live and 2. If AR shields it then m2k is above Peach (which makes it much easier for Peach to combo Marth)
Darrell Bell Armada's greatest strength is his consistency and impenetrable defense. His mental state is always at equilibrium, while m2k has highs and lows.
Ken Fernandez If you think of it it is not early at all, giving that he also plays smash 4 and doubles to a far point in the tournament. He is still the best overall player but yeah, I also want to see him excel at melee singles.
Watching Armada's spacing is so inspiring as a Peach main. Holy shit, is that incredible.
Armada really is a remarkable player , this tournament made me realise that.
Armada's Peach is fucking magical. The way he controls her puts every other Peach to shame. it's like he's not even playing the same character
Sad to see M2K like this towards the end. If he changes his mindset, M2K could easily be the best in the world.
He won't change his mindset, the way he his got him where he he's at, he's a stubborn guy with aspergers, it's gonna be very hard to make him want to change, you can only help someone so much, they have to want it themselves.
17-2* lifetime against Armada. It has nothing to do with mindset, Armada is just a terrible MU for M2K.
m2k wasn't doing badly against armada until game 3. It's clearly a mindset problem you could see him getting frustrated.
You misunderstood me. I'm not saying he doesn't have a mindset issue, I'm saying resolving those issues wouldn't make him the best in the world right now.
David Petersen oh my b
16:45
M2ks placing in the big house in order are 1,2,3,4
Anyone see the turnip fall through the platform at 1:26?

swygster he tries to do that, but it's not exactly easy when Armada can kill marth in 1-2 combos

Case in point... the last stock of that dreamland game lol
Can someone tell me what was up with leffen this tourney ?
Someone hug mew2king
This was so painful to watch live
M2K was out playing Armada but Armada was in a way utilizing the hard work that M2K was putting in lol.

Armada should have gone Young link

Did anyone notice that death note reference at 8:45 ?
this sounds like an amazing set though
16:52 Armada. "We take those".

kinda sad to see m2k go out early again

WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENS TO M2K IN THIS TOURNAMENT?! LIKE 20 SD'D D:
M2k should try other characters
M2K plays all the top tiers except ice climbers and jigglypuff lmao
Uh he definitely has a Jigglypuff silly. He has more of a Puff than a Falco which he only played in PM for a bit
BrickNGames I know for a fact that he has used those others but I mean like another character then his usual ones
first xd
