So, you print the image, put the powder on, let sit for abt 20 minutes, put under heat press, use unwaxed parchment paper for 5 seconds and slow peel the parchment paper and then press on shirt correct??? Cause if that is how simple it is I will be doing this! My little oven is not big enough and I cannot get the actual DTF oven yet. Please let me know if I have this correct :)
Hey I am curious, with a single Prestige A4 DTF Printer, while doing this process of Curing the transfers, how many shirts do you think can you make an hour?
The fumes, these chemicals are not regulated and im not sure whats in them, ill usually wear a resperator when im screen printing, just trying to be as safe as i can
This is a great hack, but couldn't you get 2 cures out of every sheet by just flipping it over? Put a 2nd sheet between the used side and the top platen that you reuse over and over to keep any glue from getting on the top platen.
Dude if you have to let it sit for 20 minutes you might as well allow your heat press to cure for 2 to 3 minutes then. Just put it closer to the transfer paper.
( Awesome idea )but I have to say what a waste 😢 just more garbage that can't be recycled, and it may be cheaper but for a short time it will ad up to be more expensive than a Oven in the long term
🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ so many people are sooooo cheap and want to do things the cheapest way vs getting a real DTF set up. Who does this in their house 🤦🏿♂️
"a real dtf set up"... bruh, this whole industry is pretty new, it's trial and error, and slapping together what works. Even those 3-5k printers that you probably consider "real dtf" are just Epson innards under the casing. Epson doesn't source their heads to these companies. Literally for ever "real dtf" printer out there, there is a carcass of an Epson printer in some landfill.
I tried it, and it worked. Thanks for the video.
When you press it does it mess it up? Does it last as long as when you cure it in the traditional way?
working smarter not harder I like it and will give it a try

that is correct
hi! thanks this is very helpful!!!! I have a quick question though is it still going to be applicable if I use HTVront heatpress?
This is awesome!! I will test it once I start 😂
so if i put the parchment paper on top it will not stick on the paper?

Great video bro! Thanks also what kind of heat press you using? Looks like a 16x20. But let me know make and model plz thanks
Hi, do you apply the powder after printing? before this step? Thank you 🙏
Very nice and U got a big heat press, well baking paper is not expensive...thanks
This is after the powder is applied. So do u print the picture do the power let it sit so the ink can dry and then do this?
Do you place the parchment paper shiny side up or down?
what dtf sheet are you using? I have a oki printer so my ink is not wet when it comes out. how can I still use the powder with this type of printer?
My ink is coming of when lifting the parchment paper what I’m doing wrong
Going to give it a try cant afford nyhe oven but want to get the filtration system
@kingprint do you put the powder right away after printing? and then let sit for 20min?
right away while the print is still wet in order for the powder to stick to the print
what dtf printer do you use?
Let it sit 20 mins with or without the dtf powder before pressing?
After print, give it 30 seconds then hit the powder, then wait about 20 minutes to press
i have same brother gtx and maxx heat press.. what pressure are you using? its it on firm or light, mine snaps automatically
so 355 for 5 secs.
I dont clamp it down when curing dtf sheets, just hand pressure, through trial and error when I would clamp HP down, it would ruin print
Thanks for this tip bro. But ask you how’s the result? Is print good and durable same as the normal procedure? Tnx buddy!
prints are very durable, I would even say it holds its print better that printing DTG straight on the shirt, but dtg "Hand" is better
Is this when using sublimation ink or actual dtf printing? @kingprint
this is DTG ink not sublimation
Do you add the DTF powder before or after you let the picture sit for the 20 minutes?
Before
Do you let it cool a little before peeling off parchment paper?
Yes, its a cold peel
Hey. Thanks for the video! One question....Why do you have mask on when you cure? Tnx
The fumes, these chemicals are not regulated and im not sure whats in them, ill usually wear a resperator when im screen printing, just trying to be as safe as i can
@@KingPrint Thank you 🍺
How much time we should wait after curing before pressing on tshirt??
you can press right after curing
what type of printer do you use to print on your DTF film?
brother GTX
Pls can I use a home microwave instead of the oven?
Microwave 😮 how you control temperature on that..? 😅
Great job 👍
is this cool peel or hot ??
Cold,
Bro do you let it sit for 20 min after putting the powder on
Yes, just to let the ink "gel" a little bit
What dtf film and dtf ink are you using.
I use ecofreen from all amercsn prints when say thin layer not that thick feeling print
The ink is brother gtx OEM ink, the film is generic film from Amazon,
How do you get the white ink?
what do you mean?
White ink comes with the dtf ink ❤
@@ggvemini7873 thanks

whatever works best for you

355 Celsius or Fahrenheit ?
F
I tried this and the print stuck to my parchment paper. Why did this happen? I did 355 at 5 seconds fairly light pressure
( Awesome idea )but I have to say what a waste 😢 just more garbage that can't be recycled, and it may be cheaper but for a short time it will ad up to be more expensive than a Oven in the long term
It's a good hack for people starting out on a budget. Make $$, buy oven :P
Wear your mask, even when you’re just pressing your image after the cure
That is the best way to ruin your transfers pal.
works perfectly for me friend
It worked for me too, thanks King Print.
I am new to the game. Why the mask?
Is if f or c sorry British here
Fahrenheit
