I don't usually press the like bottom on videos but I found my self pressing it half way without thinking about it, PLEASE make full versions of the songs and release an album, I'll be one of the first to buy, great job.
Bahaha! Man these are just hilarious, your expressions towards your clone self is gold, and the fact that in some of them you're wearing a tee-shirt of the band that the lead section is from makes listening and watching more the worth while! Awesome you compiled them into one video! Don't ever stop uploading these! I don't think I've ever heard a clean version of Eddies lead on "Beat It" 😄😄
We used to do this in the early 70s. Played jazz with clean jazz/rock instrumentals on top, flute, sax, piano, and guitar. Played alot of corporate gigs that required soft background music during dinner then easy pop dance music for a couple hours for the fogies (they usually left after that because it was past their bed time) then hit all the hard partying drunks with Stones, Zepplin, ZZ Top, Tull, ect. All you have to do is learn a few simple jazz chords and turn off the distortion pedals and have fun. Note to metal players: want to clean up your picking and get more definition, practice your riffs clean, you will hear all your mistakes that your 4 distortion stomp boxes cover up. This is a great video, thanks for sharing.🤟😁👍
The opposite can also apply when practicing only clean, I don't like to play very loud despite playing metal. I sit here with my guitar unplugged watching videos, then when I play with a group I notice weird noise leaking when I have my amp cranked all the way up because I don't properly mute my strings well.
For me it's a toss up between Revolution and Mr Crowley, both funny as hell and incredibly impressive. For future songs, the intro solo from Sails of Charon might work, there's probably a few Black Sabbath solos too - Supernaut, Hand of Doom, The Wizard, Children of the Grave all seem like they'd work (Planet Caravan is cheating tho)
@Jamie Robinson yo James! You got Pull Me Under and Symphony backwards! 😅 I was like. Damn that sounds so familiar but it definitely aint Symphony of Destruction 😅
man, I know this is mad weird, but you look like my middle school music teacher's doppelganger and the funny thing is the first time I ever touched a guitar was in his class, so weird.
Geey. I know the songs, but not the names. I am humming with you, enjoying the jazzy chords, the clean solo and doesn't know the names! Do you know how bothering that is? Still loved Symphony of destruction probably the most
that "The stage" one is so awesome, would love to hear an extended version 😎
That "Tornado of Souls" and "Psychosocial" solo are so so good. Thumbs up
always loved your reimaging of classic songs in different styles, great to see most of them here in one place

"man in the box" as jazz slaps so hard

Hey! My 4 distortion pedals actually help by burying my incredible playing under what sounds like mistakes to the untrained ears!
Such a good series! Love watching these 🤘
Love your tone on these guitars - great production for a fantastic series of Shorts! :D
The tone.. man, you have a beautyful tone
I love your new version songs so much (Thailand)
YES, YES, it's was a great idea. I also like so much "jazz guitarist in rock"
I’ve been watching this over and over, so great
I could listen to this all day!! Please make a full album of it haha thanks!!
"The Trooper" reminds me of a jazzy version of "Night of nights".
Pleasure.
It is very, very difficult to play these leads so well with a clean guitar sound. Kudos!.
MY MAN!
You make the only UA-cam Shorts I like watching.
we want this, we love this, we need this. good stuff fam.
Gran guitarrista!

Great mastery, great fun. You should make full length covers
I love these. I make my wife listen to all of them. Haha
Yes I need this!
Tbh not really a fan of Guns n' Roses but I really love the don't cry solo here
Pantera is still the funniest lol
Also, I don't know if you take requests, but I think sultains of swing would translate to jazz very well.
This is prime, your the best,i love the ending 😂😂
Just like anything in life, it doesnt matters what you say rather how you say it. Fun vid.
Those are dope man!!! Find some time to keep it alive, please!!!
recognized dream theater in one of them ✌
It’s fun to try and tell the solos! Please let us know which ones they are!
Just hover the mouse pointer over the timeline of the video. The songs' names are there
I like the voice overs....is that ....yup haha great stuff
Such a fun series and amazing playing
Big thumbs up
Timestamps for each song would have been nice... Thanks for putting this together though!
Good call! Just added them 😊👍
@Jamie Robinson yo James! You got Pull Me Under and Symphony backwards! 😅 I was like. Damn that sounds so familiar but it definitely aint Symphony of Destruction 😅
Thank you for this!
This puts a smile on my face! edit: I failed the assignment-forgot to list my favorite -Mr.Crowley and Beat it!
Teacher with glasses always gets into it, guiltily, then just stops when its not his cup of tea anymore haha
Wow, I love this. I love metal and jazz and this was an orgasm in both.
Speaking of that, Erotomania would have been a nice finish!
Good choice!
Please do an extended version of the stage. Have the short saved and listen to it all the time!
dude so good...
it would be really cool to see these compared to the originals in a video
I need one of these skit to be a full cover
I think I like jazz now
Nice work 🤟
You got Pull Me Under and Symphony of Destruction reversed! Or flipped! I dont know the word for it. On the time stamps!
Haha thanks for letting me know! Just fixed it now :)
@@jamierobinson777 🤘🏻😛🤘🏻
I would like a full recording of Jazzman in the Box, please
love the don't cry part can you seperate that? I want to repeat
😂😂 love it!
Plese tell me those aren't over!
Nope! Just a compilation so far :)
thanks man : )
what specific jazz genres is this basically ?
You take my life but I take yours to a small club down a metal spiral staircase at the edge of town that has red candles at every table
This is masterpiece 😂😂
These are so well done that they’d pass at a jazz gig 😂
Legend!
Nice
Aaaaah Mr Crowleyyyyyyyy
This is epic
why the hell do I recognize all the solos and can sing them but I can’t remember the name of most of the songs lol
There should be chapters for everyone and all these solos are just jazz versions of rock solos
But you've probably figured that out it's already been a month
how long have you been here!
me* yes
Gold
Hi - curious to know what app you’re using for editing these? Great work
Should be cool with a solo of Primus or Slayer
Guthrie govan wonderful slippery thing needs a full cover
man, I know this is mad weird, but you look like my middle school music teacher's doppelganger and the funny thing is the first time I ever touched a guitar was in his class, so weird.
Jazzy chief kiss
Jazzy slipknot FTW
I am sorry but I didn't know all the name of the songs. do you mind posting all the song of the solos?
7:47 minutes of awesomeness 😍
These sound so good. Nothing like trash jazz. The melodies actually work
This is just brilliant!
If you could, Mourn by Sentenced could be an interesting option.
You can’t upload covers to streaming services??
I don't know what I'd do if I was in some lounge, and a dude started ripping of fingertapping solos whilst jazzing out.
Who performs the song at 6:06 Don't Cry. Thank you.
Guns N’ Roses
