But a few minutes after the cops left they were both standing in the main floor kitchen and suddenly heard the basement door slam shut. The husband went downstairs and lucky for him the intruder wasn't there but he saw the shower curtain pulled open!!!! When the house was searched they forgot to check in the shower!! 0.0 VERY freaky stuff!!!

I was reading the comments and I saw yours first before I got to the last story and I thought that some kids probably egged the dudes house I did not expect what happened
That last story, I totally get that it just takes one time to push you into making sure all doors are locked. I grew up in a relatively safe neighborhood, one of my neighbors was a cop even. Grew up with my parents telling me that nothing ever happens around there & well, the city I lived in saw so little action that there’s jokes about the police having nothing to do when on the clock because of how quiet it can get. Still, my parents always locked the doors every night & boy, I’m thankful they did & after what happened, I make sure all my doors are always locked if I can help it. This happened some years ago when I was in my mid 20’s, maybe slightly older. I’m turning 30 on Monday so think around 4-ish years ago. I was at my parents’ place & up until like 4am. I went to the bathroom just before going to sleep but I heard the sound of knocking at the door. It’s not too unusual, my younger sister sometimes would stay out all night & come home drunk. The knocking kept going & when they tried opening the door, I thought it had to be her, too drunk to use her key but I was tired & really needed to use the toilet so I went & after washing my hands, the person was still trying to get in through the front door. I considered just letting my sister in but figured if she can’t find her key, she can sleep on the porch, teach her to not stay out all night drinking. So, I went to bed. When I got up, I asked my mom if my sister was still sleeping since I didn’t see her around. She was confused & told me she was staying at her bf’s that night & I told her that she was trying to get into the house at some point around 4am so my mom called my sister & as it turns out, she didn’t come by the house at all. Ever since then, I have a fear on doors being unlocked because if the front door wasn’t locked that night, whoever that was would of gained entry. I believe it might of been my cousin because during that point in time, he was on the run from the police & he was arrested that day. He lived a couple hours away from us on a regular day, bad traffic between there & where we were living at the time but I suppose it could be cut down to an hour without cars on the road. He was found between there & where we were. If it being my cousin makes this seem less scary, believe me, it’s not. He was wanted for drug charges & attempted murder. My mom use to send him money but stopped due to his drug addiction so he resorted to holding a person at gun point at an ATM. Believe me, this guy was desperate & the person who use to be his ATM cut him off. The idea of it potentially being him trying to get in sends shivers down my spine.

@@tonyg5132 yeah, I mean I’m guessing Jordan like I doesn’t have a scary story that’s worthy of being shared but there’s been experiences where I have been deeply creeped out or unnerved. But yes, it’s scary how many wackos are out there. When I say it’s a minority, I mean minority of occurrences. throughout our lives truly scary stuff might only happen a few times at most.
2nd story: so you broke into someone's house, wandered around opening doors and being noisy, and then you found the homeowner hiding, and instead of leaving you slowly approached him, so he attacked you?..... Sounds kind of like he's more the victim here than you lol
yeah it sounds like the homeowner was someone older too by the way they described the arm. the old food could be a sign they couldnt care for themselves properly. i hope they were okay :(
I thought it was a homeless person camping out in an unsold home since the way he described the home was one of that was abandoned or not lived in for a while with the rotting food, lack of furniture and holes in the walls. But even then, why would you go into an abandoned house despite your instincts fighting against you
I don't really like the compilation videos if they're repeats but I always listen anyways. The quality you produce is astounding. Thank you Mr. Nightmare
The kids in the first story brought that on themselves. They’re ding dong ditching someone’s house repeatedly and even after what happened the first time they went back like some idiots a second time. They should be scared, hopefully they learned their lesson.
It’s a major overreaction to try to run people over, potentially destroy other peoples’ property, and essentially attempt to kidnap someone over a f*cking doorbell. Remember, what the homeowner did absolutely could be used to press charges for attempted kidnapping.

i probably think the man wasnt a serial killer and just a normal pissed off man and was gou going to take them to the police or their parents..which is literally the normal thing to do....i would do that
@@siddsharma472 Didn't seem normal, he was way too determined, searching for them over a long period of time and driving across private property. @@chitinskin9860 report them yess...beat them no...maybe he had a bad day,his boss scolded him, files to fill work load, then he comes home and his wife fights with him...and just for cherry on cake when he finally went to sleep...some 17 yo kids ding dong ditch him....he lost it...imagine the story from his perspective....i would have reported the kids and got them grounded for atleast a week by thier parents
@@siddsharma472 I know several people with more... "rustic" attitudes towards child punishment, at one point it was totally normal to beat some strangers kids and they seem to still think that (fortunately most of them are too old to actually do that anymore), not sure if he had such views, knowing his age would probably help. Also, anger tends to make people more violent, and he was upset enough to possibly trash the property of his neighbors just to catch some dumb teens. Honestly I'm not even sure what I would do if I was pissed to the extent that guy seemed to be at, so even from his perspective I doubt whatever would have happened next would be pretty. And any number of things could have gotten him in that mood, so it's hard to build up much of a "real" perspective. His dog could have died, or his mom could be ill, or nothing could be wrong at the moment and he has issues from emotional suppression so the doorbell made him snap. But regardless, based off the behavior he reportedly showed, he seemed ready to _potentially_ do some hurting (I never explicitly stated that's what he would do, hence the "or" and the brackets). But that was all from the perspective of some stupid kid and the only physical evidence of anything was the older guys irritated tone in his voice so who knows what really happened. That alone makes this discussion mostly pointless... not sure why I typed all this now.

It's crazy how many people in this world have scary stories.
eh, statistically speaking, it makes sense that there is a lot of scary stories, but its still a small minority. It really depends on what neighborhood people live in and/or what situation they put themselves in

Imagine the ones that were never told
2nd story:
so you broke into someone's house, wandered around opening doors and being noisy, and then you found the homeowner hiding, and instead of leaving you slowly approached him, so he attacked you?.....
But even then, why would you go into an abandoned house despite your instincts fighting against you
And then they contemplated calling the cops! 🤦🏻♀️
@@mycupoverflows7811 for real
@Safari It's abandoned, anyone in there is trespassing. It's exciting, but if anything happens its their fault. NO ONE, should be there.

Kid that is 40 years old now: oh yeaaah
The kids in the first story brought that on themselves. They’re ding dong ditching someone’s house repeatedly and even after what happened the first time they went back like some idiots a second time. They should be scared, hopefully they learned their lesson.
It’s a major overreaction to try to run people over, potentially destroy other peoples’ property, and essentially attempt to kidnap someone over a f*cking doorbell.
Remember, what the homeowner did absolutely could be used to press charges for attempted kidnapping.
I agree those kids were a bunch of idiots but it doesn't give that man the right to chase them down, grab them, and try to run them over

3:00 if you antagonize a person beyond reason, what do you expect is going to happen? How do you know that guy didn’t just come Home from a hard job, or spent hours trying to get a crying Baby to sleep, or his wife or kid might be sick? How is it funny to deliberately make someone angry or antagonize them? Humans are just evolved animals, and when you poke an animal, it’s going to defend itself.

The part when the man said " get in the car" was bone chilling, if that kid was crazy enough to get in his car, that man was most likely going to take him somewhere and chop him up
i probably think the man wasnt a serial killer and just a normal pissed off man and was gou going to take them to the police or their parents..which is literally the normal thing to do....i would do that
@@siddsharma472 I agree
@@siddsharma472 Didn't seem normal, he was way too determined, searching for them over a long period of time and driving across private property. Didn't seem like a killer though either, but did seem like he had some intense anger management issues or some other mental illness. It's likely that he intended to report them (or to beat the kid himself), but we can't really be sure.
