I think that if she hasn't been comfortable with them, she wouldn't have been in the series with them. They feel so friendly and protective, not only with her, but especially with her 🥹
This is all scripted, which is the actual issue with the show, not any spontaneous anything, all appearances by celebs are half performances, when what's needed is actual reality

The writing is so good and you never feel they are repeating the same thing which is actually hard to do.

I love seeing how much Selena has grown in the Steve and Martin style rapid fire comedy. I remember the first time she went on shows with them and her delivery was a little more nervous than she is now

OK. Point one. Love this trio. Point two. Most people here will be waaay too young to remember this but I think the funniest moments on this show are Selena's reactions to the guys' lines/bits and that takes a gift. The actor that occurs to me in comparison is James Garner (that's where the I'm old bit comes in). He was brilliant at that. When I see Selena, I think of him and that's truly high praise.
Only Murders is the ONLY reason I re-upped my Hulu sub.
