A friend recommended I visit but didn’t make it there, yet… we instead went to look at the giant track of dinosaur footprints (it was my guests choice). It’s really quite something, isn’t it! Such a great video! You are the best!

Ola Miguel - thanks for introducing us to these wonderful caves. Quite incredible and beautiful, and so a mystery why I had not come across any mention of them before now. Caves have been very much in the news here. Nearly two weeks ago, a group of teenagers on a school trip to caves, were rescued after they became flooded. Tragically, one teenager died but could have been so much worse. Heavy rain was forecast and they went ahead anyway. Defies belief and very sad. Thanks again for your amazing vlogs and thought the quality was bang on, considering. Looking forward to being surprised again .🤗🥝

It felt like I was watching a PBS or BBC documentary! Your images are more stable than in other pov videos. Is this extra stability achieved with an app or because of a remarkable ability to maintain a steady hand even when panning or tilting, or both? I liked the musical background. The lighting didn't bother me at all. What I saw reminded me of the 1959 movie 'Journey to the center of the Earth' with James Mason and Pat Boone. The opulently lit stalactites, stalagmites and other structures flooded by various colors seem like taken from that movie. Obrigado!
Thank you Daniel! 😃 Ah, my mortal enemy: image stabilization. 😅 The extra stability in this video was achieved with a gimbal and moving very slowly. I always have to use a gimbal in low light videos, because the electronic stabilization of the camera simply doesn't work in such dark environments. So now you'll probably ask: "why don't you use a gimbal in all your videos?". First of all because the gimbal is a bit heavy, which would make long walks somewhat uncomfortable. Also, in some circumstances the gimbal can be less stable than the electronic stabilization, when the camera is facing forward, which is the bread and butter of a walking channel. However, electronic stabilization is a bit rubbish when the movement is too slow, so I have to keep a certain pace. It's a tricky balance, there are no perfect solutions, but I'm getting better with my filming techniques. 😅 I just changed the title of the video to "Journey to the Center of the Earth", one of my favorite books!

I'm really glad you presented this town and its cave. I'm not sure i'd tour thecave myself, but i very much appreciate being able to take it it wonders from the comfort of my home. It brought to mind when Hobbits had to descend deep into mines. It's so vast. I'm from earthquake country, so i'd be a bit concered with power outtage, air circulation, etc. 🤦🏻♀️ Excellent excursion nonetheless.
Hello Ruth! 😊 Where are you from? We don't have many earthquakes here in continental Portugal, but when they occur they are often devastating. Having said that, I think caves are good places to survive an earthquake, but don't quote me on that one. 😅

Eu moro em Londres, alguns ingleses ja se queixaram sobre isso , para aqueles que nao sao catolicos ter que escutar os sinos, missa ao ar livre e ver o padre a benser as pessoas. pior ainda escutar um sermao do padre.
