- Meeting and touring the world with John Renbourn, just after his degree from Trinity, was a turning point in Clive Carroll’s career. His unparalleled technical virtuosity, his versatility, recognised by musicians from John Williams to Madonna, and his own compositions make him one of today’s most admired acoustic guitarists. Clive videoed a medley of very old Irish tunes which he hopes everyone enjoys.

Musicians around the globe are saluting Bert Jansch, the legendary guitarist and singer song-writer who would have turned 75 in November 2018. The Bert Jansch Foundation is sending a special guitar, the Yamaha TransAcoustic - the latest incarnation of Bert’s favoured L series - across continents from artist to artist, enabling musicians to connect with his timeless music and enduring legacy. See who is taking the guitar on the next stage of its journey at 80plays.bertja...
Clive is one of the UK's greatest acoustic guitar players and I just love his playing. I hope he does his youtube Sunday concerts in January 2024. I think he started in 2021 and has done two Januarys so far. He seems such a nice bloke as well.
100% agree. That was such an interesting tune!
Beautiful playing sir, as always.

Excellent......must practice more on my Yamaha FG160 which I’ve had for 50 years❗️
Absolutely brilliant, thank you. Just a note though, Bert always liked his second name to be pronounced Jansch not Yansch, Jacqui told me so herself.
Rock and roll!
