Really cool marketing program.
Yep
My alcoholism is saving the environment
Thank you!
If you buy their wine and not some random corporations brand.
Awesome, we need more companies like this!
the ads are getting smarter...
But seriously. Good for her
Its not an ad if a particular brand is not promoted. Its an awareness program about a eco-project.
I love the Oyster part of this it really makes since I talked about it back when I went to school about rebuilding Ocean reefs with oyster and hand made sculptures so I love the idea of remaking destroyed reefs with these oyster shells
Thank you seeker daily for making something about this vary important issue
I think this could be a big trend of businesses today, and I do fully support the kind of businesses those willing to give back to the mother nature. I am impressed and inspired by the story.
To the detractors, I say there are less socially conscious business models. Cynicism is a form of apathy. The wine, by the way, is very clean and is good with seafood and/or salad. I hope she succeeds and inspires other efforts. The brand Newmans Own might have been the first successful model at socially responsible business. Jus' guessin'.
But this is the Internet! We're not supposed to be smart, just cynical! Seriously though, hopefully this helps oysters.
So do I! I'm from MD and we were once the oyster capital but now import inferior stuff because of doomsday harvesting. If left to watermen, there would be no oysters at all. Talk about "not smart".
James Jacocks What is "doomsday harvesting"?
Good question. "Let's take them all now, there is no tomorrow."
James Jacocks Let's save the oysters by taking all of the oysters! This can't go wrong!
This all actually kind of stinks. We can combat climate change and acidification-we have the tools and knowledge-but people keep screwing things up while others try to fix it. It's actually pretty infuriating, at least to me.
Had to rant, sorry. :p
That’s soooooo cool! Berlin is awesome!
that "farmer" headband did it for me
Both of the wines are very good on the palet, but are hard to find in my area. I would like to see more distribution here and I know a lot of people would purchase. I think this is a fantastic idea to help bring Eco-conservation to the publics attention
hell yeah i love wine
I love this concept, story and video!
This needs more views I love this channel so much!!
Inspiring for the role model of today eco sustainability marketing program
thats the longest ad i've ever seen.
Super amazing!
Can you maybe do something about Ecosia? Because it's something comparable to this thing. :)
Let's drink
Cares about bees, yet grows huge monocultures.
This is AWESOME! 🍷👍
Cool idea, good for her!
It doesn't say much about the flavour of your wine if the main reason to buy it is that it saves oysters.
"This young woman is producing wine in order to help save oyster reefs and protect marine life."....Oh i thought she produced wine to make money....so its a non profit ?
melowmedia still helping tho
please tell her to come to oroville please
yes!
Hmmm. Interesting
Yeah, cuz vineyards and grape cultivation for wine is so environmentally friendly.
I would love to contribute if I could.
Proud pour's website has a list of the organizations they contribute to. You could check it out and give to those organizations if you don't want to buy the wine. :)
Is it a wildflower if you plant it though?
We work with a non-profit who plants native flowers in every area that we are sold so that only native species are planted.
If i turn 18 i'm gonna buy that wine.
Berlin Crystal Kelly, what a fucking name......
Whaaaat? People are willing to spend a little more if it's for a good cause? Go figure. Now someone go and tell the rest of the corporate idiots.
Supporting less harvesting of oysters by making a wine that goes great with oysters?
I think they mention that they use old oyster shells from commercial harvest, not wild harvest oysters that they're restoring. Actually this is smart, you need to start from the bottom up with ecosystems, is what I think.
Exactly!
Oh good...then I've contributed.
Wait, wait for me. I’ll give you people what you need to allow these projects be born
GENTRIFICATION
So she wants to conserve the oysters but at the same time is encouraging people to eat them?
Most oysters that are eaten are sustainably farmed and the shells of these are actually collected and used as the bedrock for new reef systems!
I thought wine yeilds were going down 75% because of global warming causing plant plague and mold.
Big job,but not a reason not to try! Love the name Berlin, are your parents comm's? Just kidding it doesn't matter.
she's hot
Haha 123 likes
LoL, like millennials are gonna spend that kinda money per bottle, they either buy supermarket wine by the box, one buck chuck, or bevmo 5c sale wines that cost around $6-$10 or half that price during the 5c sale.
but water is better wine is alcoholic and doesnt rehydrate
Stop eating oysters! you don't need them, yeah let's teach people how they can keep eating sea animals and be sustainable Stop eating them!
Stop being a hippe. Animals are meant to be eaten and will always be eaten. Though I think its great that its sustainable.
Most oysters that are eaten are sustainably farmed and the shells of these are actually collected and used as the bedrock for new reef systems!
drinking vine causes autism
When pregnant, yeah.
Seems like your mom did.
I hear the blonde chick has a boyfriend named Paris.
I thought this was supposed to help oysters build coral reefs but they say it's better to eat with wine...😂😂😂😂 kill more oysters to support your business.
Most oysters that are eaten are sustainably farmed and the shells of these are actually collected and used as the bedrock for new reef systems!
Why can't republicans look at people like her and accept that we all have a responsibility to help the environment? It's not hard.
Let's drink
