Hey Jeanette! I like yr 2 camera view but I love the suspense of 1 camera. Omgggg yaayyyy celadons!!!! I’m so glad u like them! Thankyou for the shoutout. I have a tip for u for June bug. Bin it!! Haha. Lovely new combos. Nat xx
@mudmagic407 oh Nat you made me laugh out loud! I'm not disagreeing with you on the June Bug tip!!! Have to be honest it's harder filming with the 1 camera surprisingly, have to keep remembering to come do a close up lol
Oh Jeanette thank you as always for sharing so much with us!! I haven’t even tried the June bug or blue spark because I’ve seen so many not getting good results and it’s so expensive. But do try and find some combos with them online and hopefully you can find something you like and can use them. I can’t believe the difference in those two mugs!! Thank you so much for doing that test!! I wash all of my pots when I bring them in from the kiln but I set them on towels on the counter with a fan to dry them. I allow them to sit for several days. Then I put them away on my shelves. It takes me a very long time to glaze everything since my kiln is so large. It holds about 225 pieces in each bisque. But I will make sure to keep this in mind. Thanks hun!!❤❤❤
Hi Jeanette, wow you have got amazing results from the dipping glazes, the floating chrome is stunning, you could def bottle that, it would fly off the shelves. Love the breaking on the white too. Great results with all the Amaco test tiles too😊 I do like both ways with the cameras, the iver head is handy but I do like the bigger picture of you, you feel more present if that makes more sense❤❤
Oh honey I know how it feels to be on different floors! Lol. I have my glazing in the basement then most of my studio where I handbuild and slipcast is in the garage but since it’s winter I have to bring it all in and then my kilns are in the shed!! I am constantly forgetting things in one area or another. Congratulations on the new site! I’ll check it out now. ❤❤
Lol, i feel your pain lol. It's taking me a while to remember where the new locations and homes for some things are! I'm layering up the jumpers when I go in the studio as ita cold in the UK too now but thankfully not too cold for the clay and glazes, just mere humans lol. I rampnup the heating and toasty in 10 minutes lol.🥰
@ Oh how nice! I don’t have heat in the garage but it is attached to the house and we got a new big rolling door that is much more insulated but it’s still to cold to work in and would definitely freeze my clay! We were going to put up a big heavy sheet of plastic to separate my smaller area with the rest of the garage but it’s gotten too cold to do it now. 🥹
Hi Jeanette! Thanks for sharing your tests. Now I'm going to have to buy floating chrome! LOL. I feel you. on the various locations for the craft. My kiln is outside and it's multiple trips to load and unload, but at least we're self sufficient, right? Imagine having to haul everything to a studio to fire? Good luck at your Christmas market! Hand enjoy your visit with your son!

I really like the river rock combo!! For the numbers on the test tiles maybe put the numbers on the bottom!? Oh I absolutely love using the manganese wash on the rims of things. It flows so beautifully!! The last two, are those glazes you made yourself or are these premade? I think the last one that turned out well would look amazing on a tree!! The texture would be stunning!!!
Thanks Michele as always for your feedback and encouragement. Yes my video number 11 posted 30 minutes before this one was all about me making my first dipping glaze and attempting to dip! That was not as easy as I'd thought! Made my first 2 dipping glazes in Ivory and Floating Chrome. I adore the chrome!!!! Found this filming a lot harder with just one camera too! Lol Yes i might add my numbers on the bottom in future, as I snap them off when fired anyway to add them to my test tile wall hanging up. Good suggestion! Definately some new combos id like to try out for sure. Next on the list is frozen pond though lol 😆
