Unfortunately I too was a part of this type of foolishness. But by God's grace my eyes were opened. But I truly can not put all blame on the false teachers of my past because I have a Bible. I had plenty collecting dust but wanted that "supernatural formula" to unlock God's favor and his blessing and pursued giving lines , the name it and claim it, slathered oil everywhere etc. So many stories i could share😢. My heart goes out to all who are still blind. I am thankful for the church that I am a part of now that teaches God's word in context. That teaches the gospel of Christ Jesus and not a man centered gospel. I pray more have a thirst for truth.🙏🏽

I felt ALL of this sis. I was the same way. God will judge these false teachers for their foolishness, however I was without excuse because they met a felt need. I wanted the "stuff" but not God, and it was easy to work me up into a frenzy as opposed to just telling me to repent of my sin and turn to Christ. That message was too plain and simple. God is indeed kind.
I feel you sis. I know that I seem like a heretic to them, but I'm still trying to open the eyes of people at my uncles church. I use scripture with them but they just see what I'm saying as a point of view.
God's word never contradicts itself but a lot of what they say contradicts scripture.

My husband is pentecostal preacher. Hes prayed for people and they got healed. One man was on his death bed in the hospital and had a cancerous brain tumor. They had called the family. My husband went to the hospital and prayed for him and the next day he was up and well like nothing was even wrong. They gave him an MRI and the tumor was gone. They sent him home. It never came back.😊😊😊
I prayed for a premature baby who was on oxygen in the hospital, less than a month later she went home with her mother. God hears prayers of simple people too, we can all pray and intercede. That should never require any payment.

I will agree that this man is a fake, but this doesn't mean that the power of the Holy Spirit is no longer working through all who Believe in Jesus, just as Jesus himself said they would. Men like this flake do make the true followers of Jesus look like they are also fake, but Satan always tries to put his servants in there to discredit God's. I have been used by God in the power of the Holy Spirit as I share in the love of God, and people have been set free from Demons, the sick have been healed, and the dead have come back to life. I have recorded testimonies of these things. But, I am not trying to sound my own horn, but giving praise for the authority and power we have been given because we have been born of the Spirit of God and have been made one with Him through faith in Christ Jesus. As someone who has been delivered from New Birth, this video makes me want to weep. These are not true converts (most) but false converts and if the will of the Sovereign God did not see fit to save my life, I would still be there. People would say “well, if they read their Bibles they would know.” How can you get the true Word of God delivered from broken vessels? I didn’t. I left when I saw the sheep starving and the goats being very well fed. I still have not found a new church home. It is my prayer that God plants me in a church family where I can be free to be truly fed of the Lord.

I've heard a preacher call for "prophetic music" while he prophesied. No where in the word does it says about prophetic music. Music is very powerful.

I believe in healing, the prophetic and the laying of hands. I have had many prophetic words and hands laid on me concerning a kidney transplant and God did it. Approximately 18 days before my surgery, my pastor laid hands on me and spoke it. Here is the thing, people no longer trust the ministry of Jamal Bryant! Period! I’ve been to services like this and many testimonies come forth BUT the church I attended was VERY clear that they were not telling people to stops meds, treatment and seeing doctors. They also had a statement on the screen and had people sign waivers. We simply make our petition known, join in faith and let God do what he wills.
Why did they have them sign waivers if God told them to be healed?

This is so vexing! And I’ve experienced it first hand when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease 10 yrs ago, pastor used me as an example of healing. Prayed over me and rubbed oil on me. Then had me run a lap in the church and when I couldn’t do it he attempted to say I needed more healing because the lord showed him I was sick because of a curse someone put on me 😑. God is my healer and 10yrs later I’m GREATFUL to God for this illness because it brought me closer to HIM ! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽

People still don't understand the message of the crosd. What Christ's death, did for them. It is not about physicall healing, but healing of the soul, and that is eternal healing, from sin. Isaiah 53, gives us a clear message as to what our Savior did for us.

Why would God need money?! He doesn't require money for anything. I know how desperate you get when you feel helpless, hopeless, and need healing. Sowing seed is biblical. Manipulation isn’t. 10% is what the Bible requires of our income. Malachi chapter 3. The issue I believe is when preachers pimp, people believe they are being scammed so they refuse to give. Which limits a church from doing ministry. Buildings run just like our homes, bills must be paid. If not, the churches shut down. Be part of a ministry that open and transparent with their finances.

God made it a “law” when He brought them out of slavery in Egypt & had them set up the Tabernacle in the wilderness. Malachi 3 (OT) is not God speaking to the 12 tribes of Israel, but the Priest.” Which pastors use today to frighten congregations to giving tithes. Telling them that they’re going to be cursed w/ a curse. The tithe that Abraham gave to Melchizedek, was “voluntary.” It wasn’t a “law” at the time. And the vow that Jacob made to God, to give a tenth of all that he’d make; voluntary, also. The NT church is required to feed & take care of the poor. Minister Ewing gies into great detail explaining it all.
Now I have experienced this myself, and I do believe on the laying of hands. And the gift of healing, because I have actually seen it . Done with my own two eyes. So I cannot say if this is fake or not, but if it is, God shall expose it.

Maybe I misspoke. They are tortured in Hades while awaiting their final judgment. When the Demons are all cast into a burning Hell, their priorities will probably be more self-perspective
When I got saved last year I started going to a church that did this slain in the spirit crap. Me & my sister were soooo confused we’ve never seen anything like that before. It really wasn’t sitting well with me, however I kept going but after 3-4 visits I finally stopped because I couldn’t find any biblical backup for that entire shenanigan. THEN the last day I went, a woman gave a testimony & said to use your 3rd eye to see what God wants for your life. I was literally stone cold shocked she was referencing new age and no one ever said anything or corrected her. I’m so glad to be gone! Also a man was trying to fornicate with me. I honestly feel traumatized bc I never expected church to put me through so many odd emotions! They also did all that oil crap & selling oils & prayer cloths even had a guest pastor that was “ prophesying” but said he wasn’t a prophet & told people however much they were donating, they could do better… yeah it was really awful lol

Being really slain in the Spirit is OK. When Jesus rose from the dead and the guards were outside the tomb, Jesus blew on them and they fell backwards. Not sure of exact scripture, but it's in one of the books where it talks about Jesus coming out of the tomb and being resurrected. I've been slain in the Spirit many times. I sure never made myself fall. I've been saved over 45 yrs and I'm pentecostal.

While you’re definitely right about Jamal. God can speak to anybody (pastor or not) to convene people for healing at a particular time.
You’ve rightly said God is sovereign…so even by your definition he can and does speak to people. Of course people can fake the healing (as in this) or use occult powers to ‘heal’ (entirely separate issue altogether) But God can (and has) had people convene a meeting where he healed people.

This is the reason why most people called into the ministry had already figured out how to take care of their own family first. Not saying ministers should not be compensated I am just observing what takes place in the Bible.

I feel when a preacher obviously preaching bad doctrine and the church still there it’s a cult. It’s no way the truth right in your face, people calling them out, and you ain’t double checking.
It always cracks me up how the “healers” say “We can’t control it, we don’t know when its gunna happen”. They always say that when people ask “Why don’t you go to hospitals and the streets healing people?”. They respond, “We never know when the Spirit moves, it doesn’t work like that”… or “we can’t pick and choose, the Spirit does”. BUT, if that’s the case… how do you have deliverance conferences, mass healing conferences, certain services set up specifically for healing or deliverance???😂
Because most of them are FAKE!😂 Them people ain't got NO oil! Ain't nobody being saved delivered or set free!
I used to watch these and laugh, then I went to see Jesse Duplantis in a local church…live comedy. I lasted about 30 minutes, what I thought would be hilarious was profoundly sad, place was packed with everyone from children to the elderly all worshiping in vain a God they don’t even know….It was so terrible to watch all these deceived souls thinking they are on the narrow way and are happily being walked to Hell.
Maybe we can file civil charges? Im dead serious. We cant be NICE christians anymore.
I agree. I think the time is over to be "soft" Christians. We have to be WARRIOR Christians now and call out this kind of foolishness.

Ummmm🤔….. if he “said” your doctor’s appointments are going to be cancelled, surgeries cancelled, and no physical therapy needed, then why did he (NB) “open” up a “medical clinic” on the church campus? He actually was “associated” with Pastor Benny Hinn Ministries “back in the day”--he just went back to his “basics.” 💁🏼♀️

I believe in the gifts of the Spirit. We just must be watchful of who the gifts are coming from. Mr. Bryant is not a trust worthy source. That man still needs to repent publicly of heresy.

It’s sad that people that don’t believe in the power of God to heal, deliver and set deee. That is in the Bible. God is still the same. Yea go see the doctor to confirm that she is healed. That’s what he should have said.
I believe God can heal. Scripture doesn’t say because you are a Christian and have faith you will be healed, otherwise you’d never die

So many of these false leaders within the church are going to stand before Gid abd give account in judgement day and that day is coming. My Lord help your children see these false teachers who are using your name in vain for their selfish greedy money scamming needs. It's a shock because it's going on in many churches across the world not just Atlanta. My God I pray for them all. SMH!
