Country music is the story telling of life! And Brooks & Dunn is my favorite country music. I saw them live (with Reba) in Vegas a couple of years ago. Fantastic show!
If you like this hard driving country I highly recommend some Sawyer Brown. You will love the fullness of the sound, great lyrics and rich voice of the lead singer. Check out "Wantin and havin it all", "The race is on". Slower but outstanding writting are "all these years" and "the Walk" . You won't be dissappointed!
One thing I love about you, your bride, and your channel the most, is your vulnerability. God’s got you all, my friend. This BnD song is snappy and full of country guitar licks, cool lyrics and imagery. But, in total, it speaks to most of us just trying to do good and make a way. Thanks for the review. Can’t wait to see some clips from that rodeo you go to. Peace!
They have some great songs like “Neon Moon“ and “My Next Broken Heart“. This one is also one of my favorites. Thanks for doing it! I remember the first time I heard this song I was working in a grocery store in high school. It was playing over the local radio station on the loudspeakers in the store. My boss was walking around whistling to it or singing or something like that. I remember thinking how he was an average working man just trying to make ends meet.
From one vet (once in the other maritime service) to another vet...God bless ya, Tim! Takes a special kind of person to put the uniform and be proud of it 🇺🇸
This video causes 2 other songs to come to mind that you ought to check out: 1) "Workin Man Blues" Merle Haggard - Can't go wrong with the Hag! 2) "Some Girls Do" Sawyer Brown - Another feel good song from the same era as "Hard Workin Man" "I ain't first class but I ain't white trash. I'm wild & a little crazy too. Some girls don't like boys like me, ahh but some girls do"
Pleaseeeeeee watch ( This cowboys hat by Chris LeDoux)!!!!!!!!! He is a true cowboy and bull rider that passed away tooooo soon!!!!!! FYI he's a great story teller too!!!
Brooks and Dunn has it all! They have been at the forefront in my country playlist for my entire life. They’re incredible and I’m so happy you like and appreciate this song!
You will love the rodeo. Bull riders are tough, but watch the rodeo clowns. Absolutely the craziest people in the arena. Putting themselves in dangerous situations to keep others safe. Also Brooks & Dunn are straight awesome.
My favorite songs from Brooks & Dunn are That Ain’t No Way To Go; Whiskey Under the Bridge; Neon Moon; Hard Workin’ Man; She Used To Be Mine; Brand New Man; She’s Not the Cheatin’ Kind; If You See Him, If You See Her (with Reba McEntire); and of course Believe!
Quite the list, and sadly it's probably more than he will get to, but I'm glad to see That Ain't No Way To Go at the front of that list. I can't personally relate to it, thank goodness, but it's easily one of my favorites and not often at the top of anyone's list. The duet with Reba is also fire, and honestly, I loved their whole Reboot album. It's too bad UA-cam doesn't have more videos from it.
Dang don't hate country cause it's the base of all music from the beginning ❤ Need to check out Merle haggard - anything he sang is wonderful!!! David Allen Coe & his greatest early days especially "Mona Lisa lost her smile" & Keith Whitley! Early country Hank Williams Sr & Ernest tubb "Waltz across texas". Hank Williams Jr." Blues man" & Mickey gilley was great! Im only getting started but check them out first!!
Love Brooks and Dunn, music hey man you really need to listen to the song called "I'LL NEVER FORGIVE MY HEART" by Brooks and Dunn, a great country song probably the most traditional country song they ever done. Thanks again hope you give it a listen.
Your music history and the way you feel about this song tell me you really NEED to listen to Trace Atkins -- Songs About Me. I guarantee you'll see yourself in it.
I think you would enjoy Mindy McCreedy (?), Tanya Tucker, Jo Dee Messina, and Patti Loveless. Let's get the women of country in the spotlight! Trisha Yearwood is also amazing!
5:28 you ever wake up and your half way through you day? Like me sometimes I wake up with a hammer in my hand. Wade Hayes- Old enough to know better (to young to care)
Brooks and Dunn in a way kinda covered their own weaknesses. Dunn was the better vocal talent of the two, but is more reserved which didn’t make him a super great on stage performer. Brooks was the opposite where he had all the on stage flare and energy you’d want if you were a record label, but wasn’t as much of a stand out singer. That’s why most of their notable songs are performed primarily by Dunn, although brooks had his share of good songs led by him. Easily the best duo in country history and one of the better ones in music altogether.

This is definitely one of their best songs. Thanks for the reaction to it!
Brooks and Dunn is so nostalgic for me. My Maria and Neon Moon take me back to a very fun trip to Gatlinburg when I was a kid. Great memories!

The race is on original by George jones is also awesome. I listen to both

Along with all the other B&D recs, add Red Dirt Road to the list
Brooks and Dunn! One of my all time favorite country duos. And that shirt that Kix was wearing...90's country for sure.
They have some great songs like “Neon Moon“ and “My Next Broken Heart“. This one is also one of my favorites. Thanks for doing it!

Thanks for your service Tim. My Dad served in the Navy during Vietnam.

Love ALL Brooks and Dunn!!
Love Brooks & Dunn, I saw them in concert, probably when this first came out, they were opening for Reba McEntire. Great show
Wondwerful review. This was one of their earlier hits. They have always performed well and gave you more then what you expected.
If you havent heard it, listen to their version of BW Stevensons' "My Marie"....almost identical
So many good songs from B & D. Ronnie Dunn has such an amazing voice.

Also Brooks & Dunn are straight awesome.
I LOVE B&D!! They were my first concert!
You need to listen to brooks and dune featuring Reba Macintire - Cowgirls don’t cry. Good for a dad with daughters

We all need Brooks and Dunn
Ronnie Dunn's voice is sooo good!!!
Thank you so much for your service Tim! So much RESPECT!!!!
This song , like numerous other country songs, brings back so many great memories for me.

Brooks & Dunn is such a deep dive and I look forward to more!
“Neon Moon” by them is, in my opinion, the greatest country song of all-time.
They are the BEST!
got that right!
I love "My Maria" and "Brand New Man"
Love Brooks and Dunn, music hey man you really need to listen to the song called "I'LL NEVER FORGIVE MY HEART" by Brooks and Dunn, a great country song probably the most traditional country song they ever done. Thanks again hope you give it a listen.
Tim!!! Thank you for your service 🇱🇷 🇱🇷🇱🇷❤️
Their song, There ain't nothin' bout you ( That don't do something for me) is Awesome!!
You should listen to “your gonna miss me”
I love how fired up this song got you 😂 keep up the great work Seb
Your music history and the way you feel about this song tell me you really NEED to listen to Trace Atkins -- Songs About Me. I guarantee you'll see yourself in it.
You should do Mama Don't Get Dressed Up For Nothing with Allie. In this one, Kix is singing lead instead of Ronnie.
I love em, but there's an irony in musicians performing blue collar anthems and making bank, lol.
Thank you for your service.
Love the reaction thank you
One cool thing about this song is at the very end he adds "and women too"
Honky Tonk Stomp is awesome, so is Cowgirls Dont Cry with Reba Mcentire
I think you would enjoy Mindy McCreedy (?), Tanya Tucker, Jo Dee Messina, and Patti Loveless. Let's get the women of country in the spotlight! Trisha Yearwood is also amazing!
5:28 you ever wake up and your half way through you day? Like me sometimes I wake up with a hammer in my hand.
Wade Hayes- Old enough to know better (to young to care)
Please watch Born by Kenny Chesney it’s his newest song
Check out their Only in America 🇺🇸
Shout out to my shipmate Tim go Navy
You have to hear their song Rock My World (Little Country Girl)
My advice would be don't take you kids to your first rodeo. If you're not used to going to a real country rodeo, it can look quite brutal.
😂😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
