    Mikey,
I have to say I rather enjoy your tutorials & the variety of stitches I am learning from you. They are so simplistic & informative, sharing your "mess-ups" or "pattern confusions" as well.
So we know to expect them & how to work them out.
My daughter has asked me to make a shawl for her using these flowers... How would I attach them to make a solid worked piece?
Again, thanks so much for doing all of these tutorials for old gals like me that have great difficulty reading a pattern.

Hey awesome video, it was simple enough for me to follow right along with and not get confused over it all. So far I made two of these flowers; first one came out looking like it was mauled by a yard-trimmer, but the second one - made with a larger hook - came out a lot more like yours did.
Again thank you for making a video that even beginners such as myself can understand what's going on =)
Oh PS: that "third rail" term was a good one =)

Wow just found my comment from 3 years ago!! And here I am back trying to remember the specifics?
I was very please with my flower, but I couldn't work out why it was so big compared the my original ones .. Total brain fart or C.r.a.f.t. Moment .. Now I see that you have the small one in one vid & big in the other .. And I have made the big one .. I just forgot that you show how to do both! Lol! I am making fridge magnets out of the small ones. Which I've done before & they look SO cute & divine.
But now I've made the big one I think I'm going to add it to my gifts for friends list to "brooches" :)) Thanks so much Mikey, nice to hear your voice again. I haven't been doing many UA-cam tutorials the last year, but I'm back on for some inspiration & reminders etc.
Happy hookin lovely man, thanks again :))🎀

First let me say that it took me more than 18 minutes to make this flower, more so like 20, but I crochet slowly, this was a very pretty design. I did it with one color, this really should be done with two colors. Thank you for showing this technique and as slowly as you did. Can I see the work created from this pattern?

Wonderful videos, the flowers are such a nice touch to the scarves and hats I've made!! I had a question for you, I hope I can word it correctly. When starting a crochet I see that you hook under, then pull through and hook over to finish. Is this just your technique, or is this how it's supposed to be done? I always hook over, I'm not sure if it makes a difference.
    Thanks!
