this ring goes on the push button start(doesn't matter if its got anti theft), this is not for key ignition start (unless no anti theft like they stated)
yes my girlfriend had the same problem with her honda civic, the magnetic strip had been affected by the ring
Why not just make the bling ring out of plastic? Everything else on the car is plastic.
I have 2015 Mitsubishi Marage… I have a bling ring around my ignition not exactly the same style but I had it on my car for about 2 years now and I never had an issue starting my car

There's plenty of "customer states" videos that are similar. If I remember correctly same can happen with push start.
