- In this video we'll find out which plane/jet is best in terms of top speed for GTA V Online. There are around 37 vehicles in Planes catagory in GTA V some of them are just repainted/different textured models and some of them are just aircrafts.

PLATFORM OF TESTING
I've done all my testing on PC with average framerate of 60fps.
HOW I DID MY TESTING
All the aeroplanes are tested at same place with same conditions as well as same altitude to get accurate results. Refer video to get a better idea.
HOW AIRCRAFTS FLY IN GTA V
I already explain this in video itself but here's more information: Aeroplanes in GTA V can gain or lose altitude by pressing num 8 or num 5 on keyboard. so that means there can be two speeds vertical speed and horizontal speed. These two speeds decide top speed of an aircraft.
Here's the caluculation
Overall top speed = Horizonatal speed + Vertical Speed
CALCULATION OF TOP SPEED IN AIR
After above scenario, During the time when horizontal speed is at it's maximum value, we start hunt for a minimum vertical speed value so that we can assure that aeroplane is going straight line and hence the value thus obtained is accurate straight line top speed for that aeroplane.
But here's the catch Aerplanes can have 2 top speeds. In low altitude planes go slower and at high altitude planes goes faster. This is realistic because air in high altitude is thinner thus creates less drag resulting in planes obtaining faster top speed.

WHAT ABOUT NOSE DIVING AIRCRAFT
During Nose Diving an aircraft it's horizontal speed gets increased but vertical speed hit's value in negative numbers so when we add them we'll get similar number which we get from above calculation of top speed.
HOW I RANK THEM
First priority is top speed but if two or more vehicles tie then I sorted them on basis of their price (cheaper one will get better rank)

Those bikes are a pain in the ass to kill if you don't have the right tools, but once you get a hold it, they will end up running from you! (catch me on pc @steinjolt for ceo grinding and heists)

Nah i have a MK2 by my own and i hate that thing. You can't Go fast upwards and downwards and if anyone spam a lot rockets at you you have to jump of Quick. I prever my nokota, B11 and lazer. Just move up and down to avoid to get shot.

352-KM/H. For small planes 352-KM/H is SLOW but for a bloody fighter jet... that’s unrealistic

crazy cage #2 well to put this in perspective, the County of LA is bigger than all of gtas map by a lot, if vehicles were to have realistic speeds, the map would seem too small. That’s why you see a dodge demon in gta go slower than a real life suv.

Planes in GTA are very slow, and extrange, is difficult to think that a rotor plane is faster than a turbo jet plane.

In general the speeds in gta are REALLY messed up. I can't believe , that the fastest supercar is 206km/h. Where irl it is 463km/h

other cars that are super fast are the regular comet, although the comet retro custom is faster, anyone that tells you otherwise is an idiot, the prepatched re7b, a lot of the muscle cars now that they added the ability to do wheelies and the way the wheelie mechanic can be abused to basically more than double power and grip, the arena war vehicles can reach 160 mph without even doing any speed glitches just because they have nitrous,
i mean even the fastest supercar without any speed glitches, or boosts, is still faster than that every once in a while there's cars capable of 140mph+ like the banshee 900r was.

If they made it realistic and had the cruising speed over 800kmph, you would get from one end of the map to the other too quickly.

You missed the Hydra speed glitch. It obliterates every plane, even the Opressor Mk II speed glitch.
(Go in hover mode, then up and down just like the Opressor Mk II)

It's crazy how the Nokota (being a propeller plane) is faster than even the P996 Lazer jet. Or the Rogue than the Hydra. But the way the Seabreeze just effortlessly dove into the water and propelled itself out!

Vince Hoffman no... it’s because of the noise. A normal jet plane at 10000 feet can still be heard at a loud volume. It doesn’t have too much of an effect in real life
TheReaper the air at the altitude they fly at is less than half the air density so yeah it does have lot of effect

B-11 strikeforce is more powerful but can take only 2 RPG and 6 homing.
Avenger is 9 RPG and +23 homing.
Hoang Duy it takes 5 homing rockets from a mk oppressor to destroy an avenger.

9 out of 10 times u can't cause as soon as the get close or lock on the can send rockets faster than you can deploy flares and there rockets are way mor emobile than any jet (very hard to doge)
You just come fast, shoot and run far enough, repeat as many times as required, dont try to dogfight, but in town, with a good pilot you better forget on downing the opressor2.
In an opresser mark 2 you can dodge missiles by flying around in circles

You should do best plane/jet for dogfighting.
It was the Pyro for awhile but with the B-11 in the game now I say it's the best. It's not very fast but its turning radius is right there with the Pyro. What makes it better though is the exploding cannon. Yeah it sucks for ground targets (good job R*) but against aircraft its 2nd to none. Pyros machine guns are no match for the cannons of the B-11. The Lazer is still very dangerous in the right pilots hands though. Those cannons are devastating!!

The best dog fighters have to be the pyro or the starling. I still use the lazer and if ur a good ass pilot the cannons (like u said) age absolutely devastating. It’s fast and pretty agile. The b11 is very good but not fast, very good at turning at high altitudes, it gains hella speed if u dive bomb from high to low. Overall tho starling and pyro bc of it’s agility and handling.

Its historicaly accurate however in ww2 the americans didnt use this skrt of camo as the mogul is based on the beechcraft 18 and that camo is a german tank camo but yeahyour not wrong on accuracy but not used by americans they had different camos

If we’re going on glitches, like having the oppressor there, the deluxe has a speed glitch of its own, don’t know if it’s patched and the hydra also has won that allowed it to cross the map in seconds, so I’d take those into account

You just need to know how the game works. Fly as high as possible with the b11 then go down in a 30 degree angle and youll be much faster then homing missles and barrage missles. Youll get from one end of the map to the other in under 30 seconds.
The speed glitch wont get patched, they make the oppMK2 so overpowered so expensive everyone wants it and buying sharkcards

@@eroncreed3253 Strikeforce is still to heavy for dofights. Other jets with an "normal skilled" pilot will instantly shoot you down with explosive guns. His turning circel is more than 5times bigger than ghe the turning circels of jets.
Glossary:
-Fastest for hight a. *Pyro*
(352 km/h - 280 km/h)
-Fastest for low alt. *Howard*
(322 km/h - 283 km/h)
The second speed is the low altitude speed
Hint: if you want something fast, but cheap, take the howard (no guns)
If you want something OP and you have a lot of money, take the pyro (miniguns and missiles)
