Vintage seems to have a reverb which stays for much longer, like a tail. Of this I like room better because it sounds more clear and less muddy. Vintage may work well with single instruments tho while it will probably sound muddy with many.
hes comparing a 2.7s decay setting of the room to a 6.86s decay setting on the vintageverb. thats where your tail comes from. dont know why he did that. makes no sense in my oppinion.
Shimmer vs Supermassive vs Eventide Blackhole Immersion for would be a great battle long tail/infinite verbs. My money is on Immersion ... So many people are going to overlook that one, thinking it's only for Atmos tracks that it'll probably be an ideal secret weapon in your arsenal of stereo verbs.
You cant compare because this reverbs has many options, presets and variations of sound
