I saw him in Do The Right Thing.Spike Lee's. Ovie...There is a funny line in it ..Giancarlo had gotten his hair done in a twist set...it was quite short so sticking out a bit..They were planning a protest to the racist pizza parlor..so, Giancarlo is pushing for the March a d Protest..Giancarlo is "C'on.an we gotta protest...we have to protest..(not verbatum) but Spike Lee said "Man you need to go protest that mf who did your hairdo" Giancarlo had on one of his hats a d these rounds glasses..Ig been a,while since I looked at it so my details may not v d totally accurate ..
I loved that movie..and Mo Better Blues it . has a great score and good tracks......didn't mean to ramble ...lol but just saw Giancarlo on Jimmy Fallon..great interview and chat..

Giancarlo is one of the most esteemed gentlemen in this day. I remember meeting him at a Comic Con. I asked him if Moff Gideon would make an appearance in Season 3, and he looked at me and said "We're just going to have to wait to see" and gave me one of those classy winks ;)
I’d give anything to see Giancarlo and Jeff Goldblum have a conversation. Their vibe is very similar and they’re both great storytellers.
And they wear similar glasses.

He really is one of the best actors of our time. The amount of enthusiasm and charisma he has of each role is insane. Its going to make him a great if he isnt already.

I had the pleasure of meeting mr Esposito and he is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met. He had good conversation with you and wouldn’t stop until you bother we’re finished, even if his team were rushing him he would scold them to keep talking to you

I just heard of Kaleidoscope and meant to watch it eventually, but this honestly was the strongest promotion to get me to watch it, just hearing Giancarlo describe the premise sold me, I am watching it asap, I cannot wait, I freaking love Giancarlo's energy he seems so chill and positive.
I'm tired of him getting killed off in shows. Such a wonderful Actor, he deserves all of his success. 👏
Getting killed in shows allows him to give the role his all - so he can move on to another great role with nothing holding him back. Saul was a great exception - but it was cathartic watching him in that knowing what happens in Breaking Bad

Esposito owns it when he is on the screen. He showed out when he was on Miami Vice in the 80s.
I’ve been a fan of his since the 90’s. Glad to see him FINALLY getting the flowers he deserves. He’s a great actor with the roles to prove it. Now finally a leading role. I hope this is the first of many.

I remember him to Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials & The Death Cure as Jorge. His character was badass. He was also on Last Holiday that stars Queen Latifah, the voice of Akela in the live action version of the Jungle Book, also was on Once Upon a Time.

The range this cat has is damn near limitless. Firstly, he's always gonna be Buggin' Out ('Do the Right Thing') or Dean Big Brother Almighty ('School Daze') to me, first and foremost, because those iconic Spike Lee films are essential to my life history, as well as the way his bandmates clowned him in the dressing room in 'Mo Better Blues' always cracked me up. But he was deep and kinda disturbing on 'The Get Down' where he got to dig into his Latino/Christian roots, and I can even go back to remembering one of his early movie roles as a non-speaking extra in 'Trading Places', opposite Eddie Murphy, in the funny "Karate man" jail scene, although I was too young to see it back then lol I recall an indie film he did, as well, on the history of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, though I forget the title. One of my favorite actors before he was in any of the major roles most people know him for in the past decade.
