Useful! Thanks for the video, I'm looking forward to replace some of my trains' motors soon. Can't have a Plarail Shinkansen E5 that is slower than several-years-older E1 heh
You are using Sprint-Dash motors for both trains? Was thinking if I should go for Hyper-Dash 3 or Atomic-Tuned 2 to ensure train can still climb spiral towers smoothly.
Any type of motor will do. Both have Sprint Dash equipped. To ensure the train will run smoothly, I only choose trains with 2 speed configuration for flexibility.
I have a questio, Can I use any motor for my plarail trains? I’m looking on Amazon and I see a few types of motor’, but I’m not sure which one I should get. Here is a list of them. JR light dash motor JR hyper dash JR power dash & a power dash (mini 4wd)
As long as it is not ‘PRO’ and it is a mini 4WD motor then it is compatible. Ratings: Light Dash | Torque 2.5 and Speed 2.5 Hyper Dash | Torque 3.0 and Speed 3.0 Power Dash | Torque 4.5 and Speed 3.0 Torque is good for elevation/ climbing slope rails. Any of the motors listed is good and enough for plarail trains. It depends on the cost and the speed for your trains.
@@ReadyToWonder I'd like to ask, if I want to run a coupled set of train (basically your two E6 connected by the magnetic coupler at each ends), do I need more torque or more speed for the motor that ran the whole train?
Thanks. This is very helpful 🎉

@@ReadyToWonder Thanks for the tips. Any Tamiya motor will be faster than the original motor?
@@ReadyToWonder I have rev-tuned motor
Quite surprised there's a lot of gears in the chassis.
new update!! 😊

@@HNBGamer i would prefer torque overspeed for long trains.
