In this video I try out the QRD BLACKPILL 2-in-1 Wireless Adapter + Converter to see if it will allow me to use the Spark N5 PS4 Hall Effect Controller and the original PS4 Controller for PS5 games.

Hi did you try plugging headphones into a playstation 4 controller when linked to the blackpill converter? I did but headphones wouldn't work so waist of money for me unless you know something i don't , other then rhat good video and have subscribed.😊

Hey@@Stoddardian ! Sony already released an update soon after this realised that apparently caused some issues with this but it was fixed almost immediately with an updated firmware release from QRD. I don’t think it was intentional from Sony but as long as QRD support this device I think it will always be a working solution.
I Litreally Dont Even Play Ps5 Games On My Ps5 Just Ps4 Games. So I Dont Need The Converter Cuz I Can Just Use Ps4 Controller. But Thanks For Sharing. I Will Get One Of These If A Must Play Ps5 Game Pops Up!

Hi @@SALOM_707 ! QRZ said it should work with third party PS4 controllers too. There are no guarantees however as they wouldn’t have tested many unofficial controllers.
I think it only works with QRD and official PlayStation controllers.

I am able to connect to my ps5 but it forces me to update my controller. It turns the controller off as soon as I try to update. I can't seem to get past the ps5 controller update. Any ideas?

@@lalamove8712 USB cables have a maximum length. You’ll need to look into powered cables to get 50 meters but otherwise you could do this.
This is exactly what I've been looking for I despise the duelsense controller It's the most uncomfortable controller I've ever used in my 32 years of playing video games and Sony blocking the usage of Duelshock 4's for "not having all the features" When razers Wolverine controller for PS5 Also doesn't support the same haptic feedback and adaptive triggers..
It's beyond anti-consumer..

My dualshock 4 devices are not connecting to my PlayStation 4 machine. Probably the Wifi Bluetooth Antenna part is defective. But solving this problem is very costly. If I buy and plug in the Bluetooth device in this video, do you think I can connect my Dualshock devices to the PlayStation 4 machine? Does it work?
@@caslanefe before you buy anything maybe try removing all your controllers in the PS4 menu. To reconnect them you just need to plug them in with a USB cable and press the home button. Let me know if that helps.
Quick question did you come across a update for the usb adapter because I ordered one it arrived today to go with controller to play PS5 games but the company sent me a email saying I need to update it

@@LovingTechLife i’m going to use on the ps5 and i was gonna get a controller with some paddles but they are all pretty expensive , does the controller feel cheap tho ?
@i_ihyperz_i1518 I think the Spark N5 feels very light and plastic is so smooth so I think that makes it feel cheap to me but the buttons and sticks don’t feel cheap if that makes sense. I think a grip/skin that designed for the Xbox series consoles would really go a long way to making it feel better.
@@LovingTechLife okay im probably gonna get the spark N5 cause like how it has paddles thanks but like if u could pick the spark N5 or normal ps5 controller which would u pick cause i like features but i don’t want it to break easily or something like that, i’ve just looked up a bit about it and everyone has been saying how the bumpers are very weak and how the buttons are wobbly did u feel the same
@@dueljdxhiglrrj The PS5 console was designed with the DualSense in mind so I would always rate the DualSense above other controllers especially when it comes to first party games that take advantage of the DualSense features. It costs more and so is better quality overall. I would have both controllers. DualSense first and Spark N5 second for the Hall Effect and paddles. I play COD so having at least 1 paddle is a game changer for me. Depends on what games you play. If you could only have one for your PS5 then you have to have at least one DualSense in my opinion.

Hey @PovElijah! Yes the only wireless option I’m aware of. There is a wired option out there too I believe.
