When I got my Genesis for my 14th birthday in 1991, it came with a free game offer where you could choose one from a small list. This is the one I picked, and when it arrived later that summer, I loved it. That summer was all about this, Sonic and Castle of Illusion.
@Yusakug wow for me here I grew up in Australia and when I got my mega drive console my first games were Altered Beast , Golden Ax , and about two weeks later my mum got me my third game which was this Batman I remember enjoying playing everyday oh man those’d were the best days back then as a kid
The PC Engine version has all the NES music but it's remixed some. Although that version was top down If you liked the NES music you might want to watch a playthrough just for the music
I'm impressed (and disappointed) that despite having more powerful hardware, this game ends up being a game that takes such poor advantage of Sega's 16-bit hardware. I think the NES Batman is superior, although the music in this version is just as good.
What a terrible game. NES version is so much better. Don't like how batman walks and can't jump kick and the bosses walk around like they are toddlers. No challenge whatsoever. 😂
This longplay has recently been redone to fix the sfx

God i love the music in this game. It gets you pumped up. My favorite is stage three music.
A good batman game with good music. Though not as good as the Nes but still darn good especially the Museum stage.
I played this game for the Genesis so much back in the day I was able to beat the entire game in like 15 mins
Sunsoft were musical geniuses.
One of the most god tier game soundtracks
For The Sega Genesis From Sunsoft!
Only 1 Will Claim The Night!
And That's BATMAN!
01:13, sheesh that wall of text intro

Can someone explain this to me? Is this the same game that came out on the NES in 1989 but a different version?
It’s an adaptation of the same movie by the same company (Sunsoft) but an entirely different game. This one follows the movie more closely.
😂😂p
Have to say I was a fan of the earlier Amiga verison. Not seen this before, but early in looks a bit repetitive
