あげ (age)
Probably just came from the word/s 上げ (age) which means "up" and 上げる (ageru) which means "to raise".
There is the slang あげみざわ (agemizawa) which is popularized by a UA-camr in around 2018-2019. It is said when you're feeling excited or hyped. Basically a bit close to how Luca uses POG.
There's also the slang あげぽよ (agepoyo) that became popular around 2010 which means and is used when being excited or high tension (tenshon takai).
(I don't know if the the two slangs are actually connected but the meanings are close so I included them.)
まんじ or 卍 (manji)
Yes, this kanji is the same as the one in Tokyo Revengers. Originally, it is connected to Buddhism and is used as a map symbol in temples in Japan. Around 2017, the slang まじまんじ/まじ卍 (maji manji) became popular. This basically means "awesome", or "cool" and is said when one's feeling excited. This is also very close to how Luca uses POG.

well, there are over 100+ jp livers alone so it’s impossible to befriend every single one & it’s a lot of effort to mod. i’m pretty sure it’s also the difference in streaming culture. i feel like jp livers prefer not commenting much or letting another liver know that they’re watching them because it takes away the focus on the streamer and bc chat will call their name and say they’re there and watching. it could cut the mood especially if it’s a zatsudan and they’re talking about other stuff unrelated to the liver visiting the stream. though, it also depends on who it is since there are livers that do prefer interacting with another liver through comments, and more that prefer to just silently watch.
my jp oshi hardly comments on other streams she’s watching unless she’s close to them. a lot of times she doesn’t comment and just ends up telling her chat she watched the stream on her next stream, so i bet livers themselves probably don’t know as well that maybe another liver is watching them.
I'm sure they do visit his streams. They just don't comment and just lurk lmao. Same goes for a lot of other JP Livers.
the thing is, they do visit, but they just don't comment, livers would often mention stuff they heard from other livers' stream when they were watching, and the JP branch has more offline work related stuff (they go to the company) that keeps them busy too

②The way of praising others and making them feel good
For example, the excessive praise of a superior person is sometimes called よいしょする
③an encouraging shout
Similar to ④, but you can also use it to give a shout out to someone other than yourself.
④Not so much a meaning, but a word to say when you're in the mood for excitement.
Is it something like "Yay" in English? I don't know much.

I think it's a difference in culture? The EN branch drops in on each other for a few minutes just to make a comment on a semi-regular basis but they don't stay for the stream. Even though this does divert attention for a bit, it also creates excitement and usually a clip-able moment which helps with the social marketing on the original liver as well. Like here Luca dropped by and it created a clip-able and translated snip which would reach an audience the original liver possibly did not have before this moment. So you lose a little but gain a little as well.

But they already doing something like this since forever.
