«sim practise» can i still sim race ?

racing with my worn down racing setup after not using it for so long wondering if I can still use it well.
spoiler - it is terrible until I play Assetto Corsa Competizione -- Watch live at / robokitsune_

my throttle needs to be fixed, if you look at my telemetry you can see near 100% throttle it can't operate smoothly. if my setup worked smoother I'm sure I could concentrate better during Assetto Corsa and Dirt Rallye 2,0 (forget Forza, game sucks, I tried to give it chance)
skip to really good part - 1:33:00 (Assetto Corsa Competizione)
ignore my Porsche engine completely dying at end of race on Monza, I don't understand that mechanic and it ruins my life for now when I do endurance races.
extra side note - my wheel stops giving feedback in ACC after driving for certain amount of time so every short pause is me opening Xbox menu to "refresh" my steering wheel feedback
