Hi Dimaroh my total grid size was 22 inches x 22 inches to begin with I think I added at least another 2 inches of fabric on all four sides. Hope that this is useful. Don't forget there is a Smocking playlist aswell😃👍🏻

Hi Shelby add another 12 inches to your 26 and that will include the increase of the grid size and an allowance of 3 inches extra free. thanks😊
