This is pointless. This video should be titled 'What happens when you purchase a property through 1031 Exchange'. I was hoping to get a video explaining what happens when I sell that "$600,000" property acquired through the exchange. Also, why spending so much time explaining depreciation recapture?
I was thinking the same thing. Also it can’t be a primary residence. It has to be an investment property to start which I was hoping to have some explanation on.
sloppy presentation, does not answer question how to get downpayment from 1031, how does that work? what about labor and materials to fix up the next property you are purchasing?
do all sale proceeds have to be rolled over for the 1031 exchange? Or can i choose to use only profits from the sale?
