Athena is one of the heroes who suffered the most from HoK's lack of animation cancel on basic atks. If you pay really close attention at 5:14, you'd notice that there are small delays between each enhanced BA even though Kyoui managed to chain them pretty quickly.
Aside from that, Athena is a pretty solid hero overall. Her chase is on par with the likes of Yao and Pei while packing a really high dmg even with tank build. She also jungles pretty fast. The only issue with her kit is on her ult's shield which scales with phys atk instead of HP, making it worse the later the game goes.
tl;dr : If they wanted to buff Athena, improve the animation of her Skill 2's enhanced BA and change the scaling of ult's shield into extra HP
she needs a rework tbh
her passive is kinda useless for a fighter
and also her ulti is garbage it's easy to dodge it
so if you don't have a smite to slow down your enemy then that's it
@@kyouitvThe simplest solution is that her ultimate has a relitization and in addition to increasing its area, and more its passive, that would have to be a revive of only 1:30 minutes.
And I think it would be better if she improved a lot, since well, it might be difficult to know if Athena is reworked or forgotten.
@@kyouitv Now that you mentioned about her passive, Athena's revive-on-place passive isn't even unique to her anymore since Ying/Shadow also have it. Heck, Shadow's revive is way more practical since it could skipped the death timer entirely as long as she has ult

Also when I play Athena,I always Go Assassin Athena since she can melt Markmans if the Chain combo is perfectly Landed,But be careful using Assassin Athena since she's too squishy
That sounds interesting, so what's the build ? Does it have crit items like Wukong's or is it the standard burst build like the average assassins ?

I think her ult should taunt the enemy to attack her and her true form could debuff nearby enemy stats

I do enjoy playing her but a few things feel wonky.
1. You cant mix her basic attack in with her skills. They just break midway.
2. Her ult is garbage.
3. For defensive and offensive hero she doesnt have any sustain.
4. Her passive is just alright (literally use her passive to just invade)
They keep buffing heroes that need no buffs while ingnoring the wholeass existence of Athena T_T Whenever I meet an Athena teammate in ranked, I just know I'll lose. 'Cause she's so frigging useless.
I love her to death but it's funny how diaochan is a better jungler lol
Her damage is mediocre
She barely can tank damages 😭
Her playstyle is so confusing like once you get in you need to pray that your combo land or your team back you up like what is she supposed to do after that? Like i think there's a better choice than her when it come to dealing damage and quickly run away or tank a damage for the team. I do think her passive make her do something in the game (giving vision), but other than girly needs some reworks 😭😭
Honestly athena is really useless everytime i used it, she's not tanky enough and her damage is just below most of damage dealer junggle, also if you want hero that can easily scout then picking lanling is the safest

Nah cirrus is fine, he does enough damage, sometimes it's just match up or skill issue
@@player-ty2sy cirrus is just a insta kill for fighter type jungler. he is useless,do you using him now and then??
@@krunainmoba every now and again yeah, if I see they don't have a lot if stuns and less mobile heroes then I choose him, thats why I said it's match up dependent... Also only pick him if you have a friend in the team otherwise you will lose.... But I will say a buff is needed
@@player-ty2sy am solo player so he is useless for me not for me he is also a insta kill in team fight,only good in split push somehow
@@krunainmoba yeah, I wouldn't recommend him I you're alone like that, you're right.. But with one or 2 people who know how to peel for you, he's busted
