In my experience a grief is just an attack, my tribe organises griefs on a weekly basis sometimes our allies come too. The difference between these attacks and when we organise a wipe is we don’t farm specifically for the grief and just use what ever we have at hand, unlike a wipe where everything is organised and members are urged to use particular Dino’s instead of a free for all.

how is it a grief when its 4 tribes that cap a server vs 12 people?
also how is it a wipe when you Mek a Empty FF base that has 5 heavies on it?
There are no rules to griefing, the point of it is to severely damage a tribe or make them it go extinct.
Idk your towers seems to have more than 5 heavys and if anything drop the server and get more people in
