Hi - Thanks for posting this. I live in Sarasota and love trimarans, so this was fun to watch. It might be a result of the wide angle lens in the stern shooting this video but it looked like the boats had very different angles to the wind going to windward and it seemed like you were able to come up and down a bit without adjusting the sails, making me wonder if you were pinching sometimes or oversheeted. I understand putting extra curve in the main in light air but I was less sure about having the traveler up what looked like far to windward. Your boat speed looked good throughout, though, and you obviously know what works. Thanks again for the video.
@terryGalvin9653 - The angles at the start were very much affected by the other boats around us. With the wind as light as it was we were very impacted by them. Additionally one of the boats was using a screecher which gave them more power at the expense of pointing angle.
Hi! Wind was pretty light all day 6ish kts. We've tested our screecher upwind earlier and in 5-6 kts we made the same VMG as with just the jib. But jib is way easier to tack and the groove with the screecher is very very narrow. We had the outhaul a little loose to get a bit more power in the main even up wind.
Good boat handling
Nice Adjustable Tiller Extension
Awesome to watch. Gives me some pointers on how we could be sailing our 43 tri cleaner👍
Thanks for the compliment! It's always a learning game :)

Hi C760 owner here ! i'm curious : why no code zero ? and why the bottom of the mainsail is curved (loose) upwind ?
