    Hi!
This video has taken me a hot minute to get out, but I hope I was able to answer all your questions about my hair:) It's kinda long, and yes, it's just hair and hair isn't that serious, but I thought it was an interesting video nonetheless. Let me know what questions y'all all have!
    Animal updates!
I still have all my animals (1 chihuahua, 2 rabbits, 4 sugar gliders, 1 gecko, 1 hedgehog)! Everyone is super happy and healthy. I honestly just haven't been as interested in animal care and while I still love my animals, just haven't found the time (or motivation?) to film animal-related content. I will definitely be doing a video about this and about how toxic the idea of buying so many animals is. I also have a community post up that goes more in-depth! So be sure to check that all out if you're interested. As for the direction of this channel, it has mainly been me reposting my TikTok, I am not sure exactly where things will go, but if you want to stay along for the journey, you are more than welcome!

I’ve usually been a pretty silent viewer on your TikTok and IG, but I absolutely love you. The hair donut is my absolute holy grail that I’ve been using for a couple months now. I saw your videos a few months ago and have been doing this style ever since! I wish I learned it earlier!!! I'm Indian too and I used to blowdry then brush my hair and end up with a frizzy mess :( I started to realize I actually had something in between curly and wavy but my curls would never survive the night when I did the curly girl method but doing this makes my waves look way cuter when I wake up. Thank you!!!

Omg, some great information, I watched all of it, and thank you! I need suggestion for a hair brush, I used wet brush and conair and also some of the expensive ones, but they all seem to catch a lint like material on them that never gets cleaned off the hair brush. I spent so much money on my hair brushes, and my daughter also have lots of tangles that need a hair brush which does not hurt her. She is 9 and she has had a really tough journey with her tangles and texture. Any suggestions?

Hi!! Thank you so much for this video! I have Indian hair but mine is much finer than yours. Don’t ask why but I did get a keratin treatment done on my hair twice when I was younger, and I fully regret it. My hair used to be black long thick and shiny up to my waist, especially when my mom cared for it. When I decided I knew better and stopped oiling my hair (she actually used Johnson’s baby oil which I think is mineral oil and that’s when my hair was happiest! Lol) it started thinning. After she passed away and a lot of other life changes occurred, I would lose clumps of hair when washing. I recently started brushing it out more often, but it’s become so thin and brittle, I’m now working on restoring it to its original density and health. It is one quarter of the density it used to be now. And I am working on getting it back. I’ve been using olive oil, rosemary oil, peppermint oil and Amla oil. I think I might be using too much. I really related to your “before” story and I hope to achieve similar results to your gorgeous head of thick and shiney and long hair! Your tips are so resourceful and seemingly effective. Cant wait to try them all. I’m doing a 7 day rice water challenge myself following the Yao method. I’ll let you know how it goes! Any advice in thinner shoulder length hair that is still shedding a bit more than I’d want would be great!

Wow, okay. So I think my hair has like, pretty much exactly the same texture as yours. For years I’ve kinda just been brushing it and…yeah, it hasn’t worked well at all. Lately I’ve been trying to figure out how to treat my hair differently, mainly just combing it instead which has helped some. I haven’t had much of a chance to try anything else yet, but then I came across this in my feed! I will definitely be trying this tonight. Fingers crossed that this helps!

My hair is very fine, thin, and wavy, and I have a super oily scalp. I’ve been washing my hair every day (it gets pretty greasy after about 20 hours) and I had no idea that my hair “not growing” was super unhealthy. Could you maybe do a closeup of how you separate your hair into triangles for the t shirt donut? I’m worried I’ll get it wrong. Also what are your opinions of silicon scalp massagers for applying products?
Thank you! Your channel is a lifesaver (and a hair saver)

    • @ashleyb551

In addition to everything she said in the video and the grape seed oil, you have to train your hair. Stop washing everyday and get on a schedule. For example: Say you are going to wash your hair 2 times a week every Friday and Tuesday. You will unfortunately in the beginning have to deal with your hair being oilier than usual until your body/hair responds and adheres to the new routine but It's soooooo worth it for your hair health.
PS. You can use dry shampoo in between washes (especially in the beginning while your hair is adjusting to new routine). Learning how to use dry shampoo correctly is also key. I know so many people who used to use it incorrectly. Don't be shy when spraying it on (I use aerosol kind) use a generous amount, first I use my fingers and rake them through my scalp where I have applied product and really get in there. Then I take a paddle brush and shimmy it left to right while brushing it back against my scalp and down through my hair to disperse it throughout. I keep doing this until I see no more residue from the spray. Good luck, hope this helps.

I used to use Bella vita oil control shampoo whenever I feel oiliness in the scalp like monthly once or bimonthly. And my hair becomes oily free. And I would be back on my regular schedule of oiling and shampooing. If possible, give a try.

Honestly you can’t repair split ends, it’s best to cut, but oiling it and doing the healtess blowout can make the split ends look more tamed!
