Thanks for posting this. Grindhouse Releasing is nice, I just got The Beyond and I Drink Your Blood yesterday. Cute puppy sleeping there too. This did run pretty long, and editing could help for time, but I'm just relaxing anyway, so I sat through all of it.
Definitely one of the best U.S labels. Beautiful collector's releases. I wasn't aware of the Sage Stallone connection either. At a guess, I'd say that since the acting jobs weren't coming thick and fast, he put his time to this; which was great.
Amazing Collection. Grindhouse Releasing is one of my favorite companies. I fell in love with them after I bought Pieces on blu-ray. Also I'm going to blame you when Mrs. B finds out I spend money on Corruption. ha. Anyways, great video and collection, my friend. Have a good weekend.
Not sure why UA-cam didn't notify me about this comment. I've been going back and answering comments that I missed for over an hour now. I'm responding to comments that are two years old at this point. I apologize. I hope you two are good. Looking forward to a new update video from you.
Cannibal Holocaust was the one where they went to court thinking it was real footage. Sadly the animal snuff bits were and I think the director did get prosecuted for killing a big sea turtle, but I believe Sage Stallone gave fans the option of viewing the film without that scene at least for the dvd edition.
Hi Todd! Great presentation on Grindhouse Releasing. I have about half these titles. Currently, I'm working on filling holes of films I don't have from Grindhouse and Blue Underground. I bought The Swimmer about a couple of months ago, but I still haven't watched it. However, I did see it back in the mid 80's at the Leo S. Bing Theater in Los Angeles. The Leo S. Bing Theater is located within the Museum of Modern Art. The La Brea Tar Pits are there also. The La Brea Tar Pits can be seen in the movie Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones. Anyways, I went there quite often back then and saw quite a few movies there. My recollection of The Swimmer might be a bit vague, since it's been so many years. I think that this was a man who had a mental breakdown at some point in the past. When he does arrive at his home in the final scene, he discovers the reality of losing his family. How or why isn't explained, I don't believe. Like I mentioned, it's been a lot of years since I've seen it.

Great update as usual Todd!
Do you get questioned about your movie collection by friends or family who aren't necessarily familiar/interested in films like this? I just picture someone looking at your movie collection and being startled lol.
Amazing collection dude. Puts my collection to shame I only own a handful of Grindhouse releases, But do own other releases of some of those film you showed.
@@TheWickerBoy I’m glad to hear you’re well. Things are back to normal in the US for the most part. Not too many restrictions as they’ve opened to full capacity at most places. Still mask order in effect. I’ll sure be glad when this is over. Always good to hear from you.
I dont own a single Grindhouse Releasing film yet. But I'm on the lookout for The Swimmer or Cannibal Ferox to start... these are deep cult films that I'm just not that familiar with.
@@ToddEWalnuts Yeah I was reading about them yesterday out of the blue for some reason. What a shame. And I gotta admit, I think you turned me off the Cannibal movies with the animal horror. I cant do that stuff...

I've got The Big Gundown and Corruption. Both quality releases. So I've plenty to go after.
Arrow is releasing a couple nice boxsets. One is a western set called Vengeance Trails, and the other is an Italian crime boxset called Years of Lead

Oh yeah I remember that. I just simply can't watch that animal torture crap. It makes me want to vomit, literally. I can't handle it.

One of my favorites

You’ll have plenty of time to catch up on their catalog of movies if you decide to go that route. They are no longer in business.

Luke Dodge you’ll really enjoy The Swimmer. It’s very underrated. If you watch it, let me know what you think.
@@ToddEWalnuts Just started searching for Ebay. I look forward to watching and I'll let you know what I think.
