Himensulan Beach is less known than Bakhaw Beach but has the same white sand and turquoise waters although shorter in length.
Himensulan is located just 3.5 kilometers from Santiago Bay or about an 8-minute drive from there. It’s a short drive over a good road from the main highway in San Francisco/Pacijan Island. We went here the day before our trip to Bakhaw Beach when it was sunny for the most part. As a result, we did get to see Himensulan in all of its colorful glory. Creamy white sand, coconut palms and turquoise waters stood out.
There are a number of floating cottages on Himensulan that can be presumably rented if visitors wanted to dine out on the water. However, except for a couple swimming at the northern end of the beach, we were again the only ones on this beach giving a hint about its secluded nature.
