I had a feeling you would love Sorcery, but am SHOCKED you did not pick up Duchess! Admirable restraint, considering it's such a "you" color!

oh wow the eyeshadow palette packaging I think really shows the influence of Lisa's interest in historical makeup and compacts. I remember sometime in the 2010s she did a collaboration video with Madeleine Marsh and I can see some of the 1950s compacts in her collection had an influence for sure! Would love to see a full lisa eldridge lipstick round up.

Loved this launch! I currently have the Muse palette and the shadows blend nicely into one another. I did buy Velvet Duchess because I can never resist a Lisa Eldridge red but on the lips, it was very similar to Velvet Jazz, especially at full intensity. I hesitate to say you'd benefit from having both especially if you have more coloured lips, but naturally, lighting and skin tone will also affect how similar or different it looks on you.

I have the Muse palette and Velvet Duchess as well. I don’t have Velvet Jazz, but I do have Velvet Myth - I always like my darker lipstick colors in matte formula so that they don’t travel around my crooked lip line 😂
Same here. I own both Jazz and Duchess and was a little disappointed at how similar they looked. I can't tell much of a difference on my own lips. Pompadour was an amazing shade though, but I do not own any of the other new shades, so I can't say if they're similar.
I absolutely love eye shadow palettes, if they have a colour mix and u can blend them out and there gorgeous. Muse is a gorgeous blend of eye shadows, I also love that u can swap out colours if needs b. I love that she has lipstick to match, maybe one day I will try them 😊. I love the velvet rain lippie - it looks so beautiful!!!!!!

I’d love to see some LE lipstick swatches of old colors that are similar to each other or to the new ones. Especially sorcery compared to some of her other darker lipsticks. It was sadly sold out before I could get it because I forgot to set an alarm. I got the liner but it’s warmer than the lipstick. I look forward to a restock and hope it’s soon. I also got the sorcery eye palette which is stunning! I never thought I’d like dark greens on my dark cool brown eyes but I am loving using it as liner. And the lighter greens as a quick swipe. Wow! I need velvet sorcery! I bought my first Lisa lipstick, velvet jazz from their pop up in Covent Garden this year and it unfortunately broke but customer service was amazing and I got a replacement days later. I’d love a cream or liquid blush
Her team is fantastic aren't they! They helped out a lot of people with her Enlivening Blush last year when there were formula and packaging issues, so they're currently unavailable as I suspect she's improving them! ☺️👍 x
Hi Matilda. Have you tried rain soaked rose as a blush? Straight on matt with a brush or you can mix it with a dab of her elevated glow for a fresh faced cheek. That coupled with blotted lips is going to be my go to spring look. Cinnabar also works well as a blush. 😀 x
also I actually use velvet decade for a look kind of like velvet sorcery by applying tiny amounts little by little and smudging them out and the cool purplish undertones to the brown make your lips look slightly frostbitten

I can't wait for the re-launch of the blushes next year and I'm also hoping for new shades. I'm a cool tones lover, so I want to see light murky lavender/mauve blush and lipstick (Velvet Vega could be the name, maybe, so that all palettes have their corresponding lipsticks!). I don't know why, but all her nudes pull so peachy on me even those that are supposed to be cooler. Fawn, Muse, Sorcery, Kitten Mischief,... All very peachy. Only Meet me in Berlin, Decade and Painterly, which are brown/berry-ish, look great on me (as well as the Muse gloss and lip liner). I didn't get Enchantment and Rain so I would be interested in a comparison video once your skin has recovered ;)

I was kind of disappointed with the texture of the eyeshadows. They work best with fingers and I’ve found that the pan starts to feel like a film has developed when I used (clean) brushes. I’m wondering if anyone else has had issues?

Me again Amber! Just compared Velvet Enchantment and Walk of No Shame for you, and they're certainly related but have slight differences. Walk of No Shame actually looks more muted and a bit deeper than Velvet Enchantment which is brighter and has more obvious red/pink tones. I'll try to swatch them in the comparison next year if I broaden it to include other brands! 💄 x

Walk of No Shame actually looks more muted and a bit deeper than Velvet Enchantment which is brighter and has more obvious red/pink tones. I'll try to swatch them in the comparison next year if I broaden it to include other brands! 💄 x

I heard another reviewer said some of the eyeshadow shades oxidize fast and severely, especially one of the purple shades. I wonder if this is happening to you to.
Ooh I haven't experienced this Yan! I've never worn a lot of purple eyeshadow so I wonder if it's something to do with that particular pigment? Interesting 🤔 x
