The 3 aspects that will bring weight to our actions
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي تَوَاضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعَظَمَتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي ذَلَّ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِعِزَّتِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَضَعَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِمُلْكِهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي اِسْتَسْلَمَ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ لِقُدْرَتِهِ
اللهم صل على محمد وعلى ال محمد و بارك وسلم
اما بعد
we are speaking about how our deeds will be weighed according to quality, not quantity_
3 aspects bring this weight, one is iman, 2nd is ikhlas, 3rd is following sunnat method
hadhrat Shaikh RA has done a beautiful explanation at the last hadith of virtues of salah:
we should have 12 things in our salah, to gain the correct benefits of salah. All of them have 3 parts
ikhlas is one of the last ones, that has 3 things
1st is that this action is only done for the sake of Allah Ta'ala.. 2nd is this ability has only been given to me by Allah Ta'ala
the benefit of this 2nd one is that it will help to remove pride and takabbur.. as he is linking the action to Allah Ta'ala, not only himself
don't say I did this because I am punctual on time, I have timekeeping...or I did this through my own strength or skill... not like this at all.. rather say this happened through the ability given by Allah Ta'ala
to relate it himself is what shaitan did, and he was cursed by Allah Ta'ala
3rd this hoping for rewards by Allah Ta'ala only, not for any worldy gains, or praises, or for the other person to repay the favour... nothing like this... Insha allah by having pure rectified intentions and ikhlas, Allah Ta'ala will accept it
we ask Allah Ta'ala to grant us all the ability to practice upon what we have heard. Ameen
سبحَانَكَ اللّٰهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا انْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتْوبُ إِلَيْكَ
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
